We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

AustraliaEverything was fine with the room and check-in etc. Parking is expensive at $55 per day at the hotel so we just found a carpark around the corner for 1/3 of the price and parked in that.
Enjoyed our stay at QT Auckland. We've stayed at a few of the QT branded hotels and they're always very good. Nice clean room with a comfy bed. Not much of a view from our room but we didn't pick one with a view so can't complain.

United KingdomThree coat hangers not enough. Room lighting is perfect for chilling out but no good if you want to see what you're doing. Light switches need an instruction manual, got fed up of pressing them multiple times to get the desired lighting level.

New ZealandOur room 417 I thought had terrible lighting the room was very dark. You couldn’t really light up the room much at all. And thought for the amount we were paying complimentary water should be given at turn down. Reservation staff weren’t very welcoming in their nature, facilities weren’t advised e.g where is the restaurant, gym what time is breakfast where it is served.

Solid 9/10. I enjoyed a very comfortable stay at QT Auckland and would definitely stay there again. Highlights were the extremely comfortable beds and the super chic bathrooms. Also really appreciate we were given a free late check-out upon request.

Australia100% recommend this property. It is of the same design, standard and service as other QT hotels I’ve stayed. Easy positions near the wharf area with bars and nightlife. And a short walk into the city, noting that it is uphill. We also enjoyed the rooftop bar as a nice resting point.
