The place was getting a bit shabby and the shower door couldn't close properly and the bathroom fluorescent light was dangerously noisy when switching on.

The location was very good for us.

Couldn’t hear the TV. Volume was set too low. Ripped Net curtains need replacing. Needed more than one air conditioner. Room was very tired and needs updating.

Both toilets were running. The flourescent lighting in the bathrooms were unpleasant. Made it look a bit creepy. The ventilation in the toilet with the laundry was insufficient for a dryer. The whole bathroom steamed up.

The space and the layout of the suite worked well for us. Basic but sufficient kitchen. Good to have a laundry.

when i was booked from booking.com its not mentioned on site they charge the bond $500 extra for stay . when i went in the reception the desk lady she charged from my card $709 but the room price is $ 179 . i asked her why u charged me extra $500 and she said it is security when u will check out tomorrow we will refund you back $500 . it was so disappointing bcoz i have only that much money in my account and the desk lady said if u don’t pay the bond $500 we ill not letting you check in . and that time i have no choice to go anywhere else bcoz i came from Rotorua and it was night time and near hotels already all booked bcoz of weekend. it’s really bad experience. i am never going back there. Better they mention on there site about bond then no one go there for stay .

Owners need to spend some money on the rooms - broken cupboard door and shower door, no fan in bathroom, air-con not very powerful, needs to be cleaned was full of dust. Wifi was unavailable for a huge part of the morning. Overall quite a disappointing nights accommodation. Huge water puddle on on balcony floor and it hadn't been raining. Definitely not value for money

The showerhead was broken. Try to plug in charger and there was electrical wires hanging out of a hole behind the bed. Balcony door did not shut 13 stories up very dangerous for families with the little ones. No clean towels. Dryer did not turn off, washing machine kept unbalancing continuously, even though I tried to fix it over and over. The cupboard door would not shut and it looks like somebody had kicked it. Dusty everywhere The staff were very helpful, the young girl on the front-end when I asked for more towels couldn’t leave the desk. I said I’ll come down and get them from you and she said they will put in storage and she wasn’t allowed to leave the desk alone to get them when I asked them to come fix the showerhead I said I had to go out and I needed a shower and they never came. So I had to go out smelly when I did come back they had replace the showerhead. When I went to pay at the end, I complained and I said I wasn’t going to pay for the parking because of all of the problems and she said that’s fine. You don’t have to pay for parking and then it was taken out of my account anyway. I would definitely not stay at this place, even though the staff tried very hard to help. It was like a drug den. I forgot the front door wouldn’t lock. We had to put a chair next to it because we were two girls on our own. It was a horrible experience. And the shower door wouldn’t shut so it flooded the whole bathroom.

Check in says 2pm but room wasn’t ready had to wait till around 245pm till we were allowed to check in. Got to the room and the cleaner was still in there. Wasn’t very clean if I’m honest. Shower door in one of the bathrooms didn’t close, they had a child safety lock in there to use as an option to close it? Walls need a good wash, and probably a re paint. Balcony needs a clean, and main bathroom wasn’t great. Light needs replacing, no fan in the bathroom.

Bedding was good, spacious apartment. Good size for a group of friends or family.

With no double glazing on the window or sliding door, the noise from Queen Street kept me awake much of the night. Street noise to be expected in a central location, but didn't realise it would be quite that bad! Next time I'll remember ear plugs! It would have been nice to have a proper bedspread or coverlet, rather than just the duvet inner covered by another top sheet.

The room was spacious, clean and tidy - everything required for a short stay. There was more than enough milk left for us in the fridge and a nice bottle of iced cold water. A good selection of coffee, tea and even a couple of Tim Tam choc biscuits. Full sized ironing board and iron, which was helpful. Centrally located and room with small balcony overlooking Queen Street - if you leaned out you could just see the Sky Tower.

The 2 bedroom unit we stayed in is quite rundown. It really does need a refurbishment or at least some maintenance.

Toilet seat needed replacing. Leg fell off bedside cabinet and had to screwed back on. Light over vanity blew and we asked for it to be fixed. We were told it would be done that evening, when we came back from our evening out it still wasn't fixed. The bed was hard and uncomfortable.

The house keeping staff were polite and helpful. The location was good and central to the CBD.

Car parking was terrible. There was only one carpark left when after we had popped out to supermarket ect and we were lucky we brought our small swift as that small thing only JUST fit into the park as the only one left had a massive pole covering almost half the park? Definitely need to do something about that.. Need more than 2 towels in bedroom, maybe 4. There was no duvet cover on duvet inner.

Staff on the front desk were very friendly.
