Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

New ZealandChecking out time. For those that want to leave early, to have the reception open earlier. 9am is too late. There were a few remarks made from patrons about that.
We got lost in Auckland as I couldnt get Google maps. Mel (duty manager) guided me all the way to the motel, she went over and above for us. She was patient and reassured me everything was going to be ok. She took the stress away from me. We arrived at the motel at 1145pm. Mel also made herself available for us in the morning as we had to leave early. She was gracious, helpful and really made our stay worthwhile. The motel is gorgeous, more than what I had expected, especially for the cost. I would definitely be using you again. Thank you Mel, I will always think of you and what you did for us.

New Zealandwe were a bit perturbed about the $300 bond!! excessive, especially as we use your facility all the time. the breakfast option is a great idea but not available until after 9 a bit late. would love a snack bar with the tea n coffee, just a biscuit or something. the TV far too small n kept freezing n clitching that was in room 513. you might need to check that out

AustraliaThe fact that you need to send them a scan of your ID card and credit card for after hours arrival, while they have that already in the system just adds to the risk for identity theft or fraudulent use of the credit card. Please use more secure systems than sending a photo/scan of that information. If you can't do that, just tell that upfront in the booking information. I would have taken another hotel.

Excellent to have laundry services in the unit. Also good to have Chromecast built into the TV. We’d have loved the TV to be a little bigger, but was adequate.
