The floors were very hard and lumpy.

The location was great. We also liked the lobby area with the fire.

Room I was in needed an upgrade, very small. Outside light on overnight shone right into bedroom space. Whilst I acknowledge this has to stay on for security reasons it could be a downlight.

A balcony would have been nice to sit and stare at the mountain. There is a pub across the road which was noisy and we had to keep our windows open for fresh air as there was no air con. Noise finished by 10pm, so it wasn't a big problem.

Excellent location and we opened our curtains from our first floor room to the beautiful Franz Josef Glacier which was stunning. Room quite large, but without balcony. Comfortable room with enough space for a two night stay.

It is a bit pricey.

Room is large, and I particularly like the long bench which can serve a a sofa, or just a bench to place your open luggage(s)/bags. There is 1 double bed and a single bed. Breakfast is buffet style and busy as they cater to tour groups. Location excellent, short walking 3-5 min to other restaurants/shops/tour companies on the Main Street (Hwy 6).

Nice breakfast with plenty of choice. Nice room with a view of the mountains and a central location in the small village that allowed us to walk to all the attractions. Parking adjacent to room and laundry facilities free of charge.

Communal corridors, stairs and balconies appear dated, which gives the Impression maybe not as clean as the rooms were themselves. This appears to be a large hotel complex. So maybe some areas are more up to date than others. It seems expensive for what it us, but maybe that’s because of the area. The room was clean and bed comfortable.

This hotel reminded me of a Best Western hotel in the U.S. that hadn't been renovated for past 20 years. The chairs in the room had stains on them. Property is right across from the helicopter pad, which reves up every morning at 8 a.m. sharp.

the staff at the front desk were very helpful and gracious. very close to restaurants and grocery--so that was super convenient. They also had bikes you could use.

My request for two rooms close together was not met. However we had the end rooms in each wing which gave more privacy so it was not a big issue Also the plumbing in room 214 gargled all the time when water was flowing from other units' toilets / handbasins There were no chairs on the balcony of room 201 I would have assumed the bed configuration standard would be a double and a single, not 3 singles
