I felt welcomed into Chris and Lin's home, where they shared their passions for growing fruit and veg (the garden is full of it), and painting (Lin's paintings are all around the house). Our room was homely and comfy, and had a decent height shower in the bathroom (many establishments only cater for visitors below average height), though I became a little too well-aquainted with the sloped roof ceiling. A good breakfast of fresh bread, cereals and home-grown fruit made for a good start to the day. It is in a good location, 10 mins walk from the main street restaurants (we ate at Francesca's, which was excellent) and the lake. Even the Puzzling Centre is only about a 20 min walk away, and the road north out of town is close by.

The host was very vocal in his political views and opinions. This at points made for moments of uncomfortablility

This is a lovely BNB, with excellent amenities, lovely personal touch. The bed, ensuite and morning breakfast are all lovely and make for a be comfortable and relaxing holiday. Touches you don't get in a traditional hotel.

-We greatly appreciated the warm welcome that we received from our hosts. -The quality of the accommodation is optimal and our room met the highest standards of comfort : spacious, impeccable, tastefully furnished and decorated, with a modern and well-appointed en-suite bathroom. -We shared a fantastic breakfast (home-made bread and jams, and other delicious preparations...) with our hosts and fellow guests. -Our only regret : not to have been able to stay longer.

The room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was excellent. Very nice brekfast with the hosts. A beautiful garden to relax in after a day touring.

It was a little bit out of town but easily walkable.

Chris and Lin made us very welcome. The room was huge and very well furnished with some very thoughtful touches. Breakfast was excellent with Lin’s home made bread, granola and fruit pots. Sharing the breakfast table with Chris and Lin and the other guests was very sociable.

Loved our hosts! Lin snd Chris are so kind and engaging. We had such nice conversations with them and other guests staying at the BnB. Continental Breakfasts with Lin’s homemade bread and jams and parfaits made with her homemade granola were very nice . Chris’ green thumb has created a beautiful outdoor environment to enjoy inside or outside. Bedroom with AC was perfect and made our stay very comfortable. Convenient location.. could walk to town and lakefront. Thanks Lin and Chris! Hope to see you two again ❤️

Everything was great!

Terrific breakfast with wonderful homemade bread and jams. Our room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. Convenient outlets by the bed and good wifi connection. Easy walk into town. Chris and Lynn gave us nice recommendations about things to do around town. Easy parking in the driveway. Air conditioning and heat if needed in the room.

Very comfortable room with modern bathroom and furnished with everything we needed for our one-night stay. Located within walking distance to the town. The breakfast was delicious and set us up well for our long hike in the morning.

Lovely attic style accommodation with everything you need for a short or long stay. Breakfast was the best we have ever experienced with the most delicious fruit parfait. Host was very friendly and made you feel welcome. The home grown cherries were a special treat and the most delicious we have ever tasted.
