My stay at The Lazy Cow was good, exceed my expectations. The place is nice and clean, nice kitchen and some items for breakfast. Excellent staff. Great place to eat adjacent the accommodation.

The location is unfortunately between two petrol stations so the traffic noise from the trucks through the night was annoying

The vibe, the cats, the pillows, the beds and the staff were awesome! Also liked the kitchen and the fan in the bedroom was a bonus

I was able to use their pizza restaurant next door for a meal and /or a drink

the owner/manager was very welcoming and helpful. when I had a problem missing my coach to Westport, she gave me some practical suggestions of another overnight stay. but thankfully I didn’t need it as I was given a life by 2 customers at the Rivers Cafe arranged by the Murchison I-Site team

The 4pm check in time, they made an exception for me but nevertheless it’s pushing the envelope and sending a negative message to travellers. It’s a small hostel, check out is 10am, they are professionals. There is no reason why they cannot have the hostel ready for guests earlier.

We weren’t provided any bath towels and didn’t know how to find any early in the morning.

Comfortable beds, well stocked share kitchen and helpful welcoming staff. Enjoyed the pizza restaurant out back.

I found this to be a lovely homely B n B.Great stopover when travelling down the Coast. Friendly reception, very comfortable bed, super clean, A Beautiful out / door garden Bar. And having a Restaurant on Site with great food is a bonus. A good continential breakfast with yummy homemade granola. One little suggestion Citrus Candles on the outdoor tables. I would stay here again

Only (very minor) things were that my room was onto the road, and trucks occasionally woke me (but I am a very light sleeper), and I couldn’t find a hairdryer - but I didn’t look very hard.

Great place - super clean kitchen with cereal and bread for breakfast. Comfy and warm. Bed was super comfortable. There was a spa bath available too (though sadly I didn’t have time to use it!).

I got into room and settled to see a note on mirror Door lock on outside door broken. Does not lock. No one around to ask to change rooms. Appalling security

Sometimes trucks will stop on the street and you might hear their engines running.

A couple of hours before check-in, you'll receive a door code. Once you enter, you'll find a hallway and an open-plan kitchen/dining room as well as the living room. The kitchen is probably one of the most well-equipped backpacker kitchens I've seen. If you fancied to do some baking you could as there was baking powder and the baking trays available. The living room features a TV and some board games for entertainment. Some rooms have their own bathrooms, but if you're assigned a room without one, you'll only be sharing the bathroom with one other room. The best feature of the bathroom is that it has a jacuzzi! What a fantastic place to stay! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making me feel at home right away.
