The location and facilities are fantastic,Susie the host is absolutely lovely. Although we didnt use the pool ,it looked absolutely stunning, I really enjoyed the outside bath ,and the incredible view and weather we had were enough, also the beautiful beach and walks were just perfect for a relaxing weekend away. We cant wait to return.

Big kitchen but no microwave or oven or bbq. Also, no basic kitchen utensils such as potato peeler, masher or wooden spoons etc. Only one enormous frying pan and one tiny pot.

The view was fantastic. Plenty of flora then ocean and then the Poor Knight's islands where we went diving one day. The Pods, where we stayed, is near the main Lighthouse Lookout but far enough away for privacy

The water container of the coffee machine needed to be cleaned, so we decided to make coffee in a different way. However, I informed the host about it and it has since been cleant.

Everything! It was easy to get to from Auckland with good instructions & Susie was there to greet us & show us around. The view is stunning. We loved the space we had & the complete privacy & quiet. The bed was comfortable with beautiful bed linen & soft towels with beach towels too. We’ve been travelling for a month so the chance to relax & prepare a simple meal was welcome although we could walk down to Tutukaka for meals & a flat white to watch the world go by. Susie made delicious margaritas by the refreshing pool - thank you - our stay was idyllic.

What an amazing location to stay. I could, and did, just sit on my balcony outside my ‘shed’ room for hours staring at the view. Perfect place to relax.

The Cabin itself had a lot of cobwebs and dust everywhere and just felt it could have been a bit cleaner; however appreciate its indoor/outdoor nature so may be hard to keep on top of. Also no wifi in the Cabin and a bit of a smell from the bathroom tank in the mornings. Also advertised as a bed and breakfast but no breakfast included so would just suggest taking that wording out of the listing for future travellers.

The location is absolutely incredible with stunning views all around. You feel completely alone (in the best way) and immersed in the nature of the area. The general/shared facilities were great including beach access and a lovely pool area we really enjoyed. We loved having a bbq as well to enjoy during our stay and the bed was comfortable. The hosts were lovely and so helpful during our time.

Incredible views from the room every morning, great kitchen and living area. Clean, well equipped bathroom and very comfortable bed. Pool was great and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly! Loved the close proximity to the gorgeous private beaches and free usage of paddle boards and kayaks.

I was as advertised, very relaxing, lots to do, or you could do nothing, very friendly hosts. bed was comfy and Cosy, we were able to switch off and relax.
