Close to the beach, nice. Very comfortable beds. Nice staff. Strange that such a relatively large hotel does not serve breakfast. However, Organics some 50 m away, served very good breakfast.

Great location/view, great price, beautifully presented & decorated we wish we could have stayed longer this is our favourite hotel we have stayed at in Auckland much prefer it to staying in the cbd. We will definitely be back.

Restaurant and bar didn’t open on most of the nights it was supposed to. Bedsa bit too firm.

Dealbreaker: The WiFi was absolute crap. Dropped off and on all the time, seemed slower than dial up when it was actually on. Anyone actually trying to work or watch video with it would be completely out of luck. Fortunately, other devices we had were on data so we just used that the whole time. But if you’re planning on having WiFi at this property, it’s really not there. Also, there were no bedside outlets. We had to move beds and unplug lamps to get to places to plug phones in. This property seems somewhat modern, hard to imagine there was no foresight to plan for bedside outlets at least and, better, USB ones, since pretty much every human wants their phone bedside these days. No USB plugs in room so be sure to bring your adapter.

Clean property in a wonderful location in Takapuna. Very pleasant and welcoming staff. Beautiful views of the water and easily walkable to dining and Takapuna Beach. Nice that there is parking right on the property.

Rooms could do with a lityle more dusting

The hotel is located in a beautiful and quieter part of Auckland. Great cafes nearby beatiful beach not too far away and every needed convienience nearby, many shops including shopping mall. Spacious rooms, fantastic view, pool if needed.

Elevators smelled, place looks modern on the outside but the rooms and hallways feel dated. Balconies are very skinny and scary in the high winds.

Nice view, decent lap pool, jacuzzi, decent gym, coffee shops and restaurants on the same block, helpful pleasant staff. very close to central Takapuna. Nice bed, able to make rooms very dark for sleeping, wall to ceiling windows, nice small apt sized rooms with kitchen and washer/dryer.

Didn't sleep well as the air con unit made a clicking noise constantly as it tried to maintain the temperature I selected. Turned it off for a time but was too hot to do that for long.

Handy location, walking distance to shops and eateries. Dinner at Tok Tok, a local Asian infusion restaurant was exceptional. Shower pressure is amazing!

Handbasin had not been thoroughly cleaned in too long. Needed maintenance (very efficient) to come and clear pipes.

Didn’t see a single staff member the entire time on reception until we checked out. When we tried phoning the hotel there was no answer so we hung up.

The only 2 things that stopped the stay from being perfect was that there was only 1 coffee pod supplied for the coffee machine and that maybe when making the bed someone forgot to put the mattress connector back on. The gap between the 2 mattresses was quite obvious and meant that sleeping on opposite sides was a must - maybe that was the plan ?😊 but in our case we wanted to snuggle and couldn’t.

The staff were nice, professional and helpful and our room was really nice and clean. The views from our room were amazing!
