Trouble with gas cooker, though not for long as neighbours were happy to lend us a lighter. Region wide power outages disrupted some of our stay and made cleaning and cooking difficult, though we cannot fault the communication by the owners during this time

The treehouse was immaculate and so well thought out. We particularly appreciated the bbq on the balcony, reading nook, and speaker. The owner was so helpful and friendly, and made special recommendations for our stay (which was our honeymoon!).

We did not attempt to haul our big bags up the steps and along the path. But did expect that this might be necessary. Very disappointed not to hear more birdsong.

Beautifully designed cabin up in the trees. Barbeque provided on deck. WiFi available, even though listing said no WiFi.

Would have been good to have more cooking facilities as there was no microwave or stovetop. However, plenty of great food options in town.

Great views and a beautiful studio. Private location and away from the masses. Perfect getaway for a couple. Host was super helpful and checking in.

This property is an absolute gem. Beautifully appointed in the trees, the interior was decorated so nicely and it was left spotless and clean for us on our arrival. Parking and check in was easy, and there were some goodies left for us in the fridge which was a nice surprise. However, what stood out the most, was the kindness shown by Camilla (our host). Camilla was accomodating, responsive and caring and really made me and my friend feel welcome on our stay. Thanks so much for having us Camilla.

Everything about this place was thoughtful and well done. From the feeling of arriving to a secret and secluded location, to the small touches, the owner has created something special. We had a couple of questions when we arrived and the owner responded really quickly and was gracious with her assistance. I would 100% stay and recommend to others.

It was such a lovely place, Paihia and Opua where so close, whilst at location you feel like you are in the middle of no where. Waking up feeling you are part of nature! I would Recommended everyone to stay there!

My partner and I had an amazing stay in the cabin. It is comfortable, stylish and modern with little personal touches that make it feel home-like. The first thing we noticed was a gorgeous scent that filled the cabin, without being too overpowering. Everything was clean and perfectly placed to enhance its charm. And the welcome note was very sweet. Camilla was kind, informative, helpful and always available when needed. I truly hope we'll be able to stay again soon ❤️

Hate to be “that guy” but the wifi is very sporadic to the point where it’s almost non existent with 1-2 bars dropping out constantly. It wouldn’t be an issue for me normally but I had some work stuff to tend to and it didn’t make that easy. Other than that everything was perfect.

Beautifully designed and finished with quality down to usb ports in sockets, a fan and AC, as well as double glazing. Great communication from the host and everything was very clean. Lovely touch of a welcome drink in the fridge and cereal in case we needed it in the morning.
