We had a wonderful stay with Marie & Serge. They are fantastic hosts and if we are ever in Golden Bay again we will be staying with them.

If you get a chance to stay here, 100% do it. Serge and his lovely wife were 12/10 great hosts and the house is basically famous in town from the conversations I had. The spas, sauna and plunge pool are fantastic, we enjoyed better than hamner or anything like that. They are open 4-10pm every day and was the perfect way to send off the evenings under the stars. The breakfasts are next level, homely but professionally done. Things like homemade bread and spreads, an old Finnish wood fire sauna and Serge even dropping me off somewhere in the morning added so much value. Thank you so much for having us guys and we are total converts and will be sending others to you in the future and hopefully be back someday. If you ever decide to do a house swap with us in Newcastle, Australia give me a bell. Thank you again. Aussie and Bobbie

Wonderful hospitality from the most gorgeous couple. This is a bite of paradise within the bigger slice that is golden bay. The best worst kept secret in the top of the south. Value, comfort, style and pizazz. If I could live here I would but I think they have enough pets. Don't hesitate to book

It was so beautiful! They had two cats who were so friendly! The cottage room outside is so beautiful and the place is cozy and has everything you need. They provide you with the nicest breakfast as well and are super friendly!

I did not like the separate bed room with a separate bathroom. I'm sure that a easy change can be made to make that bedroom have an on suite. That bedroom was also a bit of a small room although there was lots of cupboard space.

Very neat and clean. Serv & Marie were excellent host and very knowledgeable of were to go and when etc. that was very helpful. The spa & swimming pool areas were awesome.

Probably my favourite place I've stayed in NZ. Serge and Marie were so friendly and welcoming we immediately felt at home here. Location was ideal, bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was great. We loved the cats, the garden and the hot tubs too. And the breakfast had plenty of options and was delicious. Will definitely stay here again when we're back in the area.

Breakfast was an amazing buffet of cereals, home made bread with a variety of spreads, orange juice- freshly squeezed, coffee plus eggs and meat and cheese if you wanted it. There was a beautiful outside area for eating and cooking food if you brought your own. Then there was the spas, saunas and swimming pool. Shower and changing facilities were also available. It looked beautiful and felt most luxurious. The bedroom was beautiful, very comfortable and had everything I could have asked for.
