Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThe GPS to get to the hotel is a little confusing to find the proper driveway up to the parking area. But after the first time, we found it fine.
This is a family run business, the gentlemen there are so kind and want to ensure you have a great stay. They showed excellent hospitality. They take pride in their hotel, which used to be their family home, and are excited to share its history with you. Since the hotel was a traditional family home, you get that feeling of fully being in the local environment. The views are beyond amazing, from the hotel you could see mountains all around including Jebel Shams. You could also see down into the very old neighborhood of Al Hamra, it was truly spectacular. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The owners shared coffee and chatted with us on multiple occasions, making us feel a part of their family.

SlovakiaThe way to the hotel is not so easy, including parking in the courtyard as it can get tight if there are more cars parking. The bathroom was very small, showering means the whole bathroom gets wet. There was only 1 available electricity socket in our room.
Staff was very nice, the building as such is really nice. It has roof access for sunset view and breakfast outside. It was very clean.

United KingdomWe booked the twin room because it was the last available room in the property. We didn’t realise how small it was until we arrived - the fish eye effect on the photo made the room seem larger than it was in reality. Not much space to put suitcases and move around, as the pillar in the room, wardrobe and standing mirror occupies space aside from the bed, fridge, table and chair. A corner of the room cannot be accessed because it is blocked by the pillar and wardrobe. The other issue we had was the bathroom. The fixed shower head is installed quite low, so if you are slightly tall you will almost surely hit your head. It is also quite small without any partitions so everything in the bathroom gets wet when taking a shower. This can be easily resolved if the shower head was replaced with one with a hose, so it would suit people of all heights and help avoid getting everything wet. The other rooms are may be better than the Twin Room though. The Twin Room is probably more suitable for a single person; it’s not comfortable for two people. Also note that the road to the hotel is a bit tricky. We followed Google Maps and approached the hotel from the left, which turned out to be a very steep dirt road. Best to approach the hotel from the right, which is longer and also steep, but paved. it would have been nice to be given tips like this prior to arrival. The pin on Google Maps is slightly off as well (it seems like it does not have a street in front of it) - we’ve reported it to Google so hopefully it is updated for future guests.
The staff were very attentive and the host was friendly. The property was clean. Nice common terrace accessible to all. Sufficient breakfast The bed was comfortable.

United Arab EmiratesThere was construction going on next door. Power was also disconnected for a construction project close by. The shower drainage was clogged. Washroom tap water was quite slow. Toiletries were sub par.
The layout and design was excellent. Beds were very comfortable. ACs were working great. The pool with the ceiling shower and built in jacuzzi was quite fun. Breakfast we decent.
