This is a very well equipped campsite, easily accessible by a 2WD car. The food is great, the fireplace in the evening is cosy, the private pool is clean and the whole environment is like in a boutique hotel. The staff book the SUV for you to watch the sunset in the desert - the service is top on. We’ve stayed with 2 little children and everything seemed enjoyable. P.S. Don’t get scammed by the drivers who are hunting the tourists offering their services - the Alsaif camp has built the perfect road, the supervisor provides you the detailed instructions, so you won’t get lost.

The insulation in the apartment was perhaps not the best because some mosquitos got into our room. It wasn’t a big problem but something that we noticed. Also be aware that in the Bidyah village, there are men trying to scam the tourists by trying to offer advise for money. We were e.g. followed such men by a car for a moment. Gladly, friendly staff of the Alsaif Camp told us beforehand of the situation so we could be aware of it.

Pleasent and modern accommodation next to the desert. We really liked the sheltered yard area with a pool, and the overall atmosphere of the room. Everything was new and well kept. The staff was very friendly and we were offered different services such as deserd visit with a car and meals as a room service. Unforgetable and wonderful visit.

This was my second time at this incredible desert camp, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. The highlight of my stay was the warm hospitality of our host, Yassir. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, always with a smile and genuine kindness. The location of the camp is simply breathtaking—right in the heart of the desert, offering stunning views and an unforgettable atmosphere, especially at sunrise and sunset. This time, I stayed in the Presidential Suite, and it was absolutely outstanding. The design perfectly blends luxury with traditional desert aesthetics, making it a unique and comfortable retreat. The attention to detail in the decor and the spacious, beautifully arranged interior made the experience even more special. If you’re looking for an authentic yet luxurious desert experience, this camp is the perfect choice. I can’t wait to return again!

“Presidential Suite“ is very modern and in very good condition. Beautiful and relaxing interior. Very good value for money. Host is absolutely fantastic and very welcoming. Invitation to campfire in the desert with info about Omani heritage, superb! Private pool adds a very nice touch and makes it easy to get rid of excess sand after visiting the desert. Easy to get to with 2WD car. Great tasty and local food delivered straight to the room!

We were very happy with what we found in the place, there is nothing to complain about, if anything at all, if you book some activities it can start getting a bit costly. However the accomodation and food are decently priced - and a nice evening at the fire makes it a memorable stay.

Yet in the dessert, but still a solidly built house with very generous room size and brand-new. Very friendly and helpful staff, Yasser had answers and solutions to everything. To have your own veranda with a pool is phantastic under the hot climatic conditions.

It is a little hard to find but they helped us right away. Also, just a suggestion: please also get hand towels for your guests! But besides from that this is an amazing place.

The place is great! Amazing facilities, super clean, the customer service is 10/10. The supervisor was so so helpful with everything and we loved it so much. Any questions we had were answered instantly. You should most definitely book if you are still considering it!

We absolutely loved our stay at Al Saif camp. If you’re debating whether to book or not, we strongly recommend booking. It’s a lovely escape at the edge of the dessert. The room is extremely clean and well designed with intricate interior design details. The pool is a lovely additional touch! In the evening Yassir took us to the sand dunes for a campfire and gave us some insight into Oman and its history and gave us some omani tea. This was one of our highlights! We booked the dune bashing tour which was mesmerising in the sunrise finished off with omani coffee in the Bedouin house! Our guide Badr was very kind and ready to stop at any point so we could take lots of photos! Yassir made our stay especially memorable assisting us from before we reached the camp until the moment we left! He is a huge asset to the team.

My stay at AlSeif Camp in Wahiba Sands was amazing. The camp is beautifully located in the heart of the desert, offering breathtaking views of the endless golden dunes. The atmosphere is peaceful and authentic, making it a perfect place to disconnect and experience the beauty of the Omani desert. The accommodations were very comfortable, blending traditional Bedouin charm with modern amenities. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing a cozy space to relax after a day of adventure. One of the highlights was the pool, which was exceptionally clean and well-kept. Taking a dip in the cool water while surrounded by sand dunes was an incredible experience, especially after a long day in the desert heat. The desert tour was unforgettable! We did some thrilling dune bashing, driving up and down the steep dunes in a 4x4, which was both exhilarating and fun. The guides were highly skilled and made the experience even more exciting. We also had the chance to try sandboarding, which was a blast! In the evening, we enjoyed a beautiful sunset over the dunes, followed by a delicious Omani dinner at the camp. The food was flavorful, with a great selection of traditional dishes, including grilled meats, fresh salads, and warm Omani bread. After dinner, we sat around a campfire under a sky full of stars. The stargazing in Wahiba Sands is incredible, with no city lights interfering, making the night sky look magical. The staff at AlSeif Camp were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. They made sure we had everything we needed and provided great insights into the Bedouin way of life. Overall, my stay at AlSeif Camp was an incredible experience—a perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and cultural immersion. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Oman!

If you go alone by car I suggest coming by day because by night it is harder to find. The only thing I did not like was that breakfast was at 8 a.m. and if you don't eat then you will stay a bit hungry hahah. But the staff offered us dates and coffee. :)

The is the most beautiful apartment I have ever seen. It is literally perfect.

We had an amazing stay at Alsaif Camp, right at the edge of the breathtaking Wahiba Sands desert. Our accommodation was a spacious house with a private garden and pool, which made our experience truly special. The house was well-equipped, featuring two bathrooms with hot water and a kitchenette, ensuring a comfortable stay. We opted for dune bashing, which was an incredible adventure, and a camel ride with our children, which was a truly unforgettable experience. The camp’s owner was exceptionally hospitable, organizing a wonderful bonfire for us and always being helpful, kind, and professional. We also ordered meals during our stay, and they were absolutely delicious. Even though our visit was short, we managed to relax and fully enjoy the peaceful and unique atmosphere of the desert. We highly recommend Alsaif Camp to anyone looking for an unforgettable desert getaway!

Pool water could have been warmer to enjoy it at night, but during the day it was not a problem since it was a good refreshing since the sun was so strong

We had an amazing stay at this “camp” and I quote because we stayed in the Presidential suites that are more like a carefully planned boutique hotel. One of the first places that I recall where the place was prettier than the pictures. Everything was absolutely perfect—from the moment we arrived until our departure. The presidential suite was spotless, modern, and truly impressive, making it the highlight of our trip. The staff was incredibly available and helpful, ensuring that every need was met. We highly recommend this camp to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable desert getaway.
