Restrooms are not as clean as expected, and being a hostel, it can get noisy from loud conversations in the hall or snoring in the rooms.

Great place to start your journey in Oman. Spacious dorms, big bathrooms,lockers, free tea/ coffee. Kitchen if you need it. Filtered water. Good wifi, laundry to wash your clothes. Great restaurants and juice bars near by. 2 km walk to Grand mosque Nice staff…. Lovely neighbourhood!Keep it up

Only one downside for me was the mosquitoes. Maybe some electronic mosquito repellents would help. I was eaten just sitting in the common area.

The location is great, close to the airport and there are plenty of restaurants and a well stocked grocery store nearby. The atmosphere in the hostel is also really nice and quite social. I was travelling by bike and was able to safely lock my bike in the courtyard, I was also able to wash my bike and bike bags on my return. Very helpful staff/volunteers. It's still a standard hostel with sqeaky metal bunk beds, but very clean in all areas.

Only 2 toilets so you often have to wait.

Hostel is nice, great value for price. Staff are nice, the manager's brother even gave me a short tour of Mutrah, that was super cool and unexpected. They let me chill in the common area before checking in because I arrived early, thanks a lot for that. Location is good, bus stop is at walking distance, so it's easy to reach the airport and other areas of Masqat.

Crowded shared area - I had an impression that many friends of the staff were hanging around.

Proximity to the bus station, greeting with omani halva. I was accompanied to the next ATM since after a very long bus ride I was too tired to look for it alone.

Everything was fine

Easy to reach from the airport by bus A1. Located near by one of the main bus station, so it's easy to travel around. Big common area, and kitchen opened 24h. Free coffee and tea. Very good atmosphere, and helpful workers. The place is surrounded by restaurants, shops, and a big supermarket where you can also find an exchange money.

Sleep is disturbed. Totally depends on other guests and their activities. Silent hours would have been a better way to ensure proper night rest. Washroom hygiene can be improved.

the beds are small, shaky metal bunkbeds without curtain. they look old. many hostels have more modern, bigger bunk beds. kitchen and bathroom should be refurbished.

It was my first ever stay in a hostel in Oman and i like it. The property has a big common area where travelers can meet, kitchen that you can cook and store food, clean toilet and bath and spacious mixed dorm rooms. The manager is very responsive to whatever queries and is a cool guy.

Zyad is very nice man , very helpful. Always available on WhatsApp for any question even if u ask about a location outside the hostel. Place is comfortable , quiet. Location is very nice in a good area .

One thing I would change is perhaps more explanations on how to check in. I was a little disoriented from the heat and ended up sitting outside waiting for the host to explain what to do. Just go inside and they will help you :)

I loved the location and how close it was to the airport. It had AC and everything. Overall my experience was amazing and I don't really have complaints. There is a convenience store around the corner and good food alongside it
