We had deluxe room, but there was nothing delux about it. Very hard bed and noisy. Should be just a standard room.

It was perfect to be able to experience the turtles. And the restaurant had lovely food.

The price was quite steep for what we experienced. We had hoped to see turtles at night, but unfortunately, despite waiting for nearly three hours, none appeared. While we understand that it's ultimately up to the turtles whether they show up or not, it would have been less disappointing if the resort could adjust the room rates slightly to reflect the experience coz the room we stayed in was very basic without nice views. So it was not worth it paying that much just for the room.

Parking was easy. We loved the beautiful beach near the resort. And the night sky was amazing.

Pricey for what you get, expensive accommodation but it’s not fancy at all. We even had the luxury eco tent but was quite basic, same for the dinner and breakfast buffet.

Breakfast can be improved upon. More importantly, in lack of the turtles the guides could do a better job in sharing the story of the place and lives of the turtles and other animals which can be found / seen in the area (from fishes to birds).

Beautiful natural reserve. Unfortunately due to the season we did not see the turtles on the beach (other people were luckier in previous days). Still the beach was beautiful! On the food side the dinner was exceptional in terms of quality and quantity of the buffet, the chef even catered for by gluten and diary intolerances….

Tent size small, fittings dated and loose. Needs maintenance. Breakfast average. Lobby washroom not clean. Museum- many things not working but was nice.

Check-in process smooth with Abhay Pande, told us how to get to our tent and the programs available. The location beautiful and very clean. Very well arranged turtle watching tour with Saud. Check out also smooth.

Beautiful location short walk from the private beach. Loved the evening turtle watch. Expert guide and all very well managed in different small groups. Star gazing and big skies. Very special.

It was a good hotel for seeing the turtles nesting on the beach. The rooms were a little old, and the facilities were limited, but the aim was to see the turtles rather than have a luxury hotel stay.

Too many poeple in same time for the visit. This was clearly impacting on the turtle wellbeing and safety. Some poeple were out of care for the nature and even created a baby turtle to go the wrong way even after receiving clear instructions about it and poeple recalling them the instructions. Maybe the number of poeple should be limited during visits and a document signed with instructions. Anyone not following them should be excluded from the tour. This to support the good work of the instructors and the wellbeing of the turtles and poeple caring during the visit. Because it make the visit difficult for all when a group or some are deciding to do whatever suits them.

The cabins are great and spacious. It was clean. The staff supported us to have a snack because we came late. We could see the turtles and the guide gave good explanation taking the time with poeple question and explaining how it works without even us to have to ask. They care about the place and the turtles. They want to pass this knowledge and gave clear instruction about behavior, the walk, the light for the best of the turtle and personal safety. Each information was pass with clarity and attention to details and for poeple to understand well. Even asking to repeat the important one about the light.

    • Bunker Room (Bunk Beds)
    • Stayed 1 night

The building from outside looks modern but inside, the facilities and decor is dated and tired for the price you pay. The museum is also in need of upgrades and not very interactive. The family room was spacious, however, the bunk bed had no rails so be careful if you have young ones. TV was not operational and room was dated. Breakfast was ok but again, expected more for the price point per room. Considering this place doesn't have a pool, it was surprising that you had to pay for a body boards to use at the beach. Tour for morning and evening where both good to see although there wasn't much interaction or knowledge shared about the turtles or the conservation.

Check in process was quite smooth and friendly greeting upon arrival. The room was adequate and bathroom was a decent size. Highlight was of course seeing the turtles.

    • Luxury Eco Tent (2 adults)
    • Stayed 1 night

The price is high for a "luxury tent" which is not luxury. I would probably just stay in the hotel next time and save the money. The dinner buffet was pricey.

We previously stayed in the building hotel room (2022 and 2013) and found it to be very sterile and the beds very hard. This time we stayed in the "luxury eco tent". The bed was a bit better but do not expect anything luxury about it at all. It is very basic but clean. It is a big tent and smells like one. The highlights of the reserve are the location (excellent) and the tours (also excellent). Every time we have gone we have seen turtles laying eggs/burying eggs/making their way to the water/babies emerging from the nest. The food was also quite good albeit expensive (12RO PP for dinner buffet). Breakfast was included. Overall, this is still the best place to stay to see the turtles.

The hotel and the rooms are quite old fashioned and unattractive. Once we understood the purpose of the architecture, to protect the turtle beach from the light, we could appreciate the building slightly better. As we travelled during summer the restaurant was empty. The personell where very kind and the food was good but we felt quite uncomfortable alone in the huge restaurant space.

Visiting the turtles at the beach at night was memorable. At night we went by foot with a small group of 4 and a great guide who was sharing his knowledge generously. In the morning we were transported with a small bus by a guide who hardly spoke a word which was quite awkward.
