“Meals were served in the main dining room and overall were very tasty. Prices were reasonable and everything was freshly prepared. Food and drinks were available all day which was nice since there were no fridges or coffee makers in the rooms.
The beach was gorgeous although it's about a 15 minute walk with inclines. This lodge is not for anyone who has mobility issues. The 80 steps up from the water alone are a workout.
Staff were very accommodating and helpful, but you definitely need to know Spanish or use Google translate to ensure good communication. They booked our tours but we ended up on the wrong tour (beach instead of snorkelling)and the price was not as advertised.

“The Casita is a separate cottage with views of the ocean and the jungle. The breakfasts were delicious and a lovely way to meet the other guests. We were also able to make simple meals for ourselves so didn’t need to go out to eat which was a big plus for us. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing which was just what we needed at the end of our Panamanian exploration.”
