Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe hot water to the room's bathroom shower was very slow. Our room faced the highway going to Cerro Punta and there were trucks transporting produce from Cerro Punta early in the morning. The trucks are loud, so expect some highway noise. The hotel is probably less than 100 meters from the highway. The pool and spa area could use some refurbishment. The hot tub needs to be tiled. The shower in the dressing area of the pool had good hot water..... you just have to wait 3 minutes or so for it to get up the hill.
The hotel was great. It was a great value for the price paid. The breakfast was fantastic. I had scrambled eggs, ham, French toast, coffee and orange juice. It was all excellent and served by order by a nice waitress. The room was very clean with nice hardwood floors. The bed was comfortable and smelled fresh. Our room had a beautiful view from the nice little sitting balcony. The hotel is 46 years old. It has character and has been well cared for. All the staff were extremely nice and helpful.

Panamaattention in restaurant (except breakfast) is bad, you have actually to look for staff to order and to pay. There are definitely better dining options in the area. And the use the spa area for groups of school kids, what does not fit together really.
Nice rooms, Spa with sauna, breakfast very good

CanadaOur room was lovely, but we arrived after a hard rain and there was a puddle of water from a ceiling leak in the living room. Thank goodness the water pooled beside the couch and not on it. We were offered another room, but we refused as we loved the room and didnt see any other leaks. There were some insects in the bathroom around tap, but that is normal in the tropics, so not a problem. There was only one coffee pod in the room for 2 people, and the demitasse cups are really too small for non-espresso style coffee. I made one coffee in a Styrofoam cup and poured into tiny cups. Also the coffee quality was not that good. Panama has many wonderful coffees, so perhaps show Panama's great qualities off a bit in each room's coffee area. Ensure pods/coffee are fresh or perhaps provide a small pour-over unit or even small French press to steep supplied coffee to desired strength. The dining area had the annoying habit of playing multiple music streams at the same time, a noisy, irritating radio or 2 video channels and a lovely light jazz, samba music stream. Please choose one sound in dining area, preferably the least disruptive so customers can enjoy each other and their meal. Our waitress was very kind to turn down videos at the bar when we asked, but then the jazz music stream kept cutting out, so if wifi is spotty, perhaps just play downloaded music from flash drive, or old fashioned CD, on speaker system so pleasant atmosphere can be consistent. The pool building on the upper garden level is amazing, but it is just not clean enough. There were large and small bugs in the lukewarm jacuzzi, so I couldn't relax. I would have cleaned water if there was a net close by. The pool area is wonderfully designed but again, the pool was just not clean enough and a bit too warm, but temperature preference is very individual, so not a big deal. This property could be spectacular with a tiny bit more attention.
Such a beautiful property and a wonderful, spacious room with high ceilings, lots of storage and gorgeous wood floor and trim. The bed was very comfortable, and the staff members were very kind and patient as we did not speak Spanish, except for a couple of words. The landscaping and views outside were wonderful. Walking around is a joy. I saw a Coati in the upper level garden coming out of the bamboo Grove. He was large and handsome, but ran away, of course, after seeing me.

PanamaThere were small spots in different areas that were not completely clean. Like dust. Not big deal but could make a difference for some clients There used to be a ping pong table before. Maybe they change it to another place.
