Love the location, the environment, the cabins are just perfect, all new and clean. Gardens, pool, terrace, fire place all well planned and well made. Me and my family really enjoyed the staying here and surelly we will come back. The restaurant is a great option for breakfast and dinner. Portions are big, the prices are more than affordable, meals are delicious. Staff is friendy and attentive.100% recommended!

A really special stay in Boquete. The views are breathtaking. Staff was helpful and lovely. The room itself was cute and the surroundings were beautiful.

Service was very disapointing. The family appartement that we had booked online did not have the view we expected. Changing to an appartement with a view was a downgrade in price, size and comfort.we accepted because we liked the view..., the price did not change. No refund... you have the right to do so. Even so..another friendly offer to compensate in some way..or any empathie was not expressed at all. ..my open suggestion to let us stay an extra night was not even followd-up with a reaction. Your stafmember seemed to avoid us.We stayed 4 nights and not a single moment of communication about my suggestion or any interest in our stay.we were friendly,made no fuss, used the restaurant etc. The cold, business attitude was inhospitable. The little Hobbit home huts were amazing, so was the location, on a small hill, overlooking a dark green coffee plantation. We really loved the view from the terrace. Also, there were fish swimming around in the castle moat, which was fun.

We love to walk, so we walked the 2.4 miles each way to town every day, even though the trip back gains several hundred feet in elevation. Perhaps they could offer a twice a day shuttle to Boquete.

The view is stunning, the staff are adorable and kind and helpful. Just very sweet people. The room was more like a cabin which was spacious, well equipped, quiet and comfortable. The pool was cool but usable, the Jacuzzi was great after a full day of activities and walking. The restaurant/bar was clean, the food and drink was just fine. The coffee was amazing. The grounds are pleasant and easy to walk.

My first look of the bathroom was a hair ball hanging of the curtain. Under the bed there was a lot of dust and I found hair on the bed. At the restaurant there was a lot of dust on the tables. Impossible to eat at the terrace.

The people working at Bambuda are very nice.

Just be aware that it is not located in the center of the town, so when in town make sure to do everything you need (groceries, ATM, restaurants etc..) before going up to the castle (the taxi is 4/5$ each way)

The castle is absolutely gorgeous and has all the amenities for you to enjoy your stay : a nice pool, a hot jacuzzi, a shared kitchen to prepare your food. The staff is nice and helpful as they helped organized tours and shuttle The room was cleaned and bathroom too.

Construction work & noise- couldn’t enjoy grounds/outdoor resturant in peace Swimming pool- freezing & left me feeling ill after using it; not sure if the chemicals were off? Didn’t use again & that was a reason i chose this place. Underwhelmed for £92 p.n, room basic, not in castle (but clean)

The castle seems very outdated. The bed sheet had a blood stain on it and the shared kitchen was absolutely filthy and was very under equipped which really puts you off using the facilities. If you are over 6 foot tall you will not be able to fit in the beds well. To go anywhere you have to take a taxi or the town is a 1hr walk from the castle. The WiFi in the common areas is ok sometimes however in the rooms does not work. Very overpriced.

A medieval Wi-Fi (not working or max 2mb/s). Don't take any tours with this hotel. It is a scam. We bought a 100$ tour only to discover that it was a driver showing us some free places during the day. The same tour was paid for 70$ by people from other hotels. There's another tour at 50$, but we did it at 15$ by ourselves. Don't take the optional breakfast option if booking (8$). This is the price of the more expansive choice. The prices of breakfast are 5$ to 8$. If you take the breakfast option for 8$, you can't even take a 6$ option and add bacon for 2$. They will refuse it (even if you have already paid for 8$). You need to take a taxi to go to town (4$ or 5$). Hot water was not working most of the time. We stayed 4 days and the hotel lost electricity each day. Once you arrive, they will surprise you that you need to accept that they are currently doing renovation outside that creates sound. This is a bit late to discover that.
