The fan in our room was a bit loud, but we were cool enough (some other rooms have A/C).

This is a fantastic BnB, well located a 20 minute walk out of town, quiet and peaceful with a lovely deck looking out on the water. There’s a well equipped kitchen, great & well maintained social areas (hammocks, board games etc), comfortable rooms and clean bathrooms with hot water. What makes the property really special though is Marco and the team. They gave us the friendliest welcome we’ve had travelling south/Central America, cooked us delicious breakfasts and were generally very friendly and helpful.

Marco is an amazing and genuine friendly person. We stayed for 2 weeks, the place is very tranquillo, we slept like a rock. Breakfast was very good and you had options. We enjoyed spending time with Marco and the staff and would recommend his Aperol Spritz ;). Lulu and Jaja are lovely. Totally recommend staying here.

Nothing that the host can really do but the location just near the sea can bring a lot of mosquitos !

AMAZING host ! Marco is such a friendly host; he will give you all the attention you need. His breakfasts are amazing. The property is super nice ,with hammocks and direct access to the sea : perfect to chill. You really feel at your own home and it’s cosy to meet other guests. Also very nice internet : we were following our scuba diving course and it was very nice to have a good internet to do the online theory !

It was the best stay we had ever (and we travel quite a lot). I cannot express how Marco the host and his team (Martin, Angie, Jay and last but not least David) made us feel. We had the best time and even prolonged our stay with one more night because we didnt want to leave. The beds are soo comfortable, the whole house is a paradise on water and Marco thought of everything. Most amazing stay and vibe and we got to know such lovely people there! The breakfast is amazziinng :)

This place is one of the best places I visited ever, not just for the great place, the interior, etc that you can't even 100% see in the pictures.. You feel at home and 100% welcome there. This is not a complaint but some advice for future guests - put on mosquito repellent - you're on the water and there are lots of mosquitoes.

Barrbra BnB is a FABULOUS place to stay. Absolutely loved it! I stayed in 5 places in Bocas and it was my favorite place in Bocas. 1. Very stylish decor with great artwork, colorful, etc 2. Very comfy hammocks and places to sit by the water 3. Breakfast was outstanding 4. The owner, Marco, knows how to make guests feel welcome - he explains the essential things you need to know about the hotel - honestly, the guy could give lessons to other hotels on customer service and how to welcome guests. 5. There's a kitchen for guests to use 6. The WiFi is exceptionally fast - I was able to download photos quickly and work easily. 7. The hotel has lots of travel info posted and on its website- where to eat, what beaches to go to, etc. and Marco will help you buy your bus ticket to other places around Panama and help you book tours. 8. I love the location on Saigon Bay - really relaxing and quiet - you can also swim and kayak in the bay 9. Love the vibe of the place - warm, welcoming, relaxing 10. Everything is so well-organized - you can buy drinks and snacks and prices are clearly marked and prices are not too expensive.

This place is just perfect! We enjoyed a really heartwarming time in Marcos place which felt like home. If you are lucky you can spot different kinds of fish directly at the terrace. The breakfast was amazing like everything else.

We've been to a lot of places, countries and hotels. We were talking about what was the best stay we've ever been and we agreed that what makes a stay nice, are the people. The staff, everyone who works at Barrbra, is super nice. They really made us feel at home and what i thought was so good, they said: if you dont like something, just tell us so that we can do something about it. I think thats a super nice way of treating your guests. The room was very clean. The view from the backside of the hotel is so good. You can see the ocean and we even saw stingrays and some kind of cuttlefish. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend this place.

Walking in, we had no idea the warm welcome we were about to receive from the staff and the jaw dropping view at the back of the property. The host welcomes you with a free drink and invites you to sit on the dock and take in the view for a bit, before anything else happens; you immediately know you're in for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The free breakfast is excellent and the place is set up so that you can choose to meet and interact with other travellers or keep to yourself. I highly recommend it!

Everything. Marco and his team and lovely pets we're all so welcoming and we felt immediately at home. This place blew us away. Our room was small but with such a fair price, brilliant storage solutions and how amazingly clean it is, we were stunned. I didn't understand how the reviews could be so amazing but now I do.

Everything was great, from unlimited coffee during the fantastic breakfast over hot shower in the evening! I could point out small details (aircon, fridge, kitchen, sea view etc.), but mainly it is the cozy atmosphere and the really friendly team, that made our stay so enjoyable. We loved everything about Barrbra. Marco and his staff are amazing. They were friendly all the time, always asking if we needed anything. The breakfast is generous and delicious. The hotel has a beautiful view to watch the sunset. It has a pier where we saw starfish, fish, rays, among others. There is also a fridge with well priced beers and you can kayak from the dock. I highly recommend this place.

It would have been nice if we could fill our water bottles for free.

I loved so many things about BarrBra: the breakfast, the views, the location, the outside shower, the dogs, the comfortable mattress ... We were very unlucky with the weather, but I can imagine that chilling on this deck with a little beer in the sun would have been the best spot in the whole of Bocas. I would recommend this place for sure, especially because it allows for a nice walk to the quiet part of the island after a good party!

The only "downside" of the BnB is that it's a bit far away from the main town and it's restaurants. At the same time, that's what makes it so charming and relaxing. The BnB offers a well equipped kitchen and the supermarket is close by. To eat out we recommend La Fonda El Fruta de pan, an authentic Panamanian restaurant with delicious food!

From the moment we arrived, Marco made us feel very welcome at his home. The BnB is a quiet little paradise, hidden away at the waterfront. A beautiful place to relax. Marco loves being a host and does it with flair! He will arrange everything you need. There is a delicious breakfast included and an extensive trusted bar. We absolutely loved it here!

Marco was offering to join on a trip to a lonely beach - we had a auch a wonderful day.

By no means is this fault of the property/owner but some of the area (locals) around the property could do with a little cleaning up of trash.. Would not stop me from going though!

Everything was so wonderful from the moment we arrived at the door. Marco sang us a song and was incredibly friendly and funny. Almost immediately after settling into our room we knew we were going to want to extend our stay. And OMG the pancakes... Wow. best ever! We loved the convenience of the honor system and how chill the vibe was here. This was our favorite stay out of 13 accommodations during our trip. Oh, and it's right on the water and you can easily rent kayaks and snorkel gear right at the spot - like c'mon :-) such a lovely place, I still think of those days often and would love to return!

it’s a 15 minutes walk from town and not much to do on this side of the island, but it’s only 1 dollar to get a taxi or just walk a little!

The place is just wonderful, cute and cozy. The beds are amazing, the rooms are nice you can see that everything is done with love. breakfast is included and soooo good. they also have a propper shared kitchen that’s clean and nice to use. The deck is a nice spot to chill and we even saw dolphins from the deck while eating breakfast. Marco made us feel so welcomed.
