The water in the shower ranged from super hot to spots where it was cool. And the couple of steps down to the bathroom is odd - we left the light on so as not to trip overnight. Towels are fine but I would have liked washcloths as well.

Manuel is a terrific host - very friendly and he guided us to an outstanding Japanese restaurant within an easy walk. The room itself was fine, nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. The location is good, just two blocks from bustling Avenida Argentina.

Very nice hostal in Bellavista, just minutes away from via Argentina which is full of nice restaurants and coffee shops. Very clean and spacious room. Lovely owner who helped is with anything we needed. I'd stay here again if I ever return to Panama city.

Everything was great. The host is very attentive and provides useful info. The room was exactly as described. Location was good for me, as I was attending an event at a fancy hotel within walking distance plus there are plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood. The place is easy to reach with public transport (subway) from the airport but requires some walking, so if you have big suitcases, it might be slightly challenging.

Everything is perfect. But if you are looking for a place near the old town, this area is 5 km away from it. We walked there, it takes 1 hour by walking but it is a safe road ( we even walked in the night ). Or you can call an uber which is 5 dollars only…

I dont know how can I properly say about the cleanliness of the hotel. We are on the roads over 3 months and stayed in more than 20 hostals, this is the which made us feel like home. Everything is super clean and smells amazimg just like mom washed them. The lady who works here is amazing. The safety of the streets, the location is amazing. There is a mexican and there is an asian restaurant 3 mün walking distance, they are so good. There is a mini market right in front of the place ypu can get everything you need.

There is a light right outside the window which let in a bit too much light at night. Would be great to offer coffee. Would still highly recommend and will stay again when I'm back. Great value and very nice hosts.

Nothing. But it’s not a party hostel if that is what you are looking for.

I have never experienced such kind helpful staff. Manuel goes above and beyond to help. When we arrived we were having contacting a airline to arrange a ticket refund- he could not have been more helpful and with success. Whilst in Panama we were subject to petty crime and Manuel contacted the Police and came with us to the station to make a statement . We had a bigger room . It was quiet, very clean with a comfortable bed and pillows. The WiFi worked well and the room had air-con. The kitchen was well equipt and we cooked a few meals. The staff will do your laundry on site for $6 a load. Excellent location- lots of shops ( food stores) and restaurants nearby. Via Argentina is a 10-15min walk. All in all we were so pleased that we chose Hostel IBRAIS - we came back for another stay! (Manuel stored our bags and had helped organise a San Blas tour)

Would have been nice to have a bedside lamp since the main light was way too bright. At night it was a bit noisy from some kind of ventilation outside the window.

The house is a bit outside the center, but Uber is relatively cheap and so it’s no problem.

Very nice and big rooms, the manger was super friendly and gave us great recommendations. The kitchen was mega well equipped. Laundry was 6usd for the whole load and came back within 2 hours.
