The hostel and the people who worked there are nice and helpful but speak little English. I didn't put many start for this hostel because when I tried to rich them thru the phone different numbers and email they wouldn't reply on my questions. Booking says check in is from 1 to 3pm but I couldn't make it so I asked if they will be there later. The communication there doesn't work before u get there. Unfortunately u can't get any answers of u r not in the hostel yet. And in my opinion it is very important to be able to respond and pck up the phone. They actually even hanged up on me once and other times never picked up.

Squeaky, basic beds but definitely ok for the price you pay.

The localisation, you can easily walk to the town center and they lend you bike for free. The overall atmosphere is great, really feels like a laid back hostel. The host was super friendly and helpful to find hikes around the hostel.

The room was super dark (walls painted black/dark gray) with only dim lighting and no outdoor window in the bedroom -- just a window to the social area. On our first night, music was loud until late (but they turned it off when asked). The room is attached to the social area, so you can hear other guests conversation just on the other side of the door.

The ambience was really nice, very cool art and decoration, parking was extremely secure, short 5-10 minute walk to downtown, really friendly staff, great tips for local activities.

I loved staying here and wish I could have stayed longer. The staff were SO helpful, the vibe was friendly and relaxed, communal spaces lovely and comfortable, and the free bikes were the cherry on top. Would absolutely stay again.

Amazing location and the staff is super helpful to show you every hick to do around the place and also good recommendations in the other places of Panama! The share bike also with you to go around in the village And just the place is sooo chill and Comfy, I stay longer than planned overthere 😊

supercool hostel with a very laid back vibe, facilities are good, warm water in the shower and beautifully located. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the two dogs of the place are always in the come along on a hike. The kitchen is equipped very well and wifi is fast. Shops are nearby and there are also bikes available. By far the best place to stay in Valle de Anton.

The owner doesn’t speak English but that’s not a criticism.

Really good base camp to explore El Valle, really nice people that stay here. Really relaxed environment with bus stop just down the road near the shop and bikes available to use for free.

It could do with a bit of sprucing up. The room is very cramped with few places to put bags.

The hostel had a really nice atmosphere. Everyone was chatty and they have two lovely dogs who follow you into town and on hikes, and a lovely cat. Juan is really helpful, although he doesn't speak English. There are volunteers working at the hostel as well though. They clean all day, but the floor and walls are bare concrete, so it looks like it's dirty, even though it's thoroughly disinfected etc.

Sufficient for simple bed, roof and bathroom, but you should also note this: - very small space in the dorms, crowded like sardines - sewage smell in common areas - no place tu put things next to your bed or even from the bag, just tiny lockers, everything else on the ground - no electric plugs, just one central pile of chargers in the common area - sweaty, sticky, dusty everywhere - cracked toilet seat, toulet didn't flush for a half day - dog and cat hair, they walk even to the dorms - loud ventilators, metal lockers and waterpipes, it wakes you up everytime enyone use them

Due to the lack of rooms, we had to spent most of the day looking for a place to stay. It was a waste of time and money.

I couldn't enjoy the hostel because according to the staff, rooms were overbooked by the website (Booking).

Nice staff. We were there when the year changed, but quite calm and no big parties in the hostel. Chill place. Good bed, hot shower, cute dogs. Short walk to pueblo. Market and laundry near. Good place for hiking, many options!

We really liked the place! It’s really well located to start all the trails around. The host (Luis) ist really nice and helps you out with any question! great atmosphere to chill in the evening. there a restaurant’s ne cafes in walking distance.

It was very dirty. The sheets of my bed were ripped off and could see the mattress below, which was torn off as well. The room itself was very dirty, as well as the bathroom. The bathroom lock didn't work properly and got myself stuck inside until the staff came and had to break the door. Afterwards we couldn't use that bathroom cause the door wouldn't close. There are lots of campers in the garden of the hostel during the weekends, and they made a lot of noise until late at night. Also, there are some sofas on the common area, but they really stink and so nobody can enjoy them.

In the midle of the night someone turn off the ceiling fan and it was hot inside. We also plugged our cellphones to charge and the electricity was cut off along with the ceiling fan switch. Please do not let that switch be handled by customers. The couch outside had a lot of dog smell, I really like dogs but it says a lot about the cleaning

the kitchen was complete, and the people is really nice. only spent 1 night and it's very close to the town and the places to visit
