The bathroom tap or connection was leaking.. this produced a puddle on the floor which filled my little bag with toothbrush etc with water. Annoying. Also: lots of musquitoes there. (scratch scratch ) We had a fan in the room, no AC . The boy at the entrance was very nice, but did not understand English. No creditcard accepted..

Dogs barking all night…..no electricity and no back up generator - we left after our first night even though we booked and paid for 2 nights The garden attracts lots of mosquitoes

The “suicide” hot water shower unit did not work, so the shower was brisk. Towels were sharper than the knives in the shared kitchen (which needs better cookware). And why do the majority of hotels in this part of world use harsh high-temp color bare light bulbs in the ceiling and not warmer colored desk or table lamps??? Also, I know I am in the tropics, but a little spraying for bugs (roaches) would go a long way.

Check in was easy (after getting past the fact that they wanted cash only for room payment, even after pledging my credit card on Booking.com to reserve the room). The facility was nicely landscaped/hardscaped. Parking right out front was easy and plentiful. The room I was given was spacious and the bed was comfortable.

I am not sure how the other rooms are, but the Family Room we booked was very very disappointing. Property looks ok in general, however, about our room: - when we booked it there were no photos but we trusted the good reviews of the property - the bathroom was improvised in a room, no walls, no ceiling, NO HOT WATER - the WC even got clugged in the first night - the "family room" is very close to the main street. The walls are very thin and we could hear every car. - the "walls" are made of some sort of wood, wind is literally blowing through them - very low quality - even for a hostel; very dirty room We will attach photos we took to try to show the actual room.

The communal kitchen has a gas stove which burns yellow and consequently gives off carbon monoxide. To be fair Ricardo intends replacing this soon and upgrading the entire kitchen but it is currently potentially dangerous. Only the open location prevents a serious problem. The kitchen equipment would benefit from augmentation - only one sharp knife, no hot water, ancient sooty pans.

Ricardo and his staff are very welcoming and helpful,. We had a semi detached cottage which was spacious and had a small terrace overlooking the pool. The pool was well maintained and kept very clean. Good location only a few minutes walk from the shops. Very reasonably priced.

The room did not have airconditioning so it was really stuffy and humid. The kitchen supplies were limited.

Good price, tips and advice on things to do around Santa Fe. The pool was nice, the kitchen/common area was quite large even though the kitchen wasn't that well stocked.

The ceiling in our room was very moldy and we had to leave early that night because it was making us sick. We were not offered a refund. Very few restaurants nearby.

Decent location very close to town and activities. Has a clean pool and WiFi. TV and refrigerator in the room. The host was helpful with a late change of dates that we requested.
