Trinidad and TobagoI requested a room with a balcony and city view which I was allocated on the top floor, but when I checked into the room the Wi-Fi was not working and I needed it in order to complete a project I was working on, I was allocated another room on 4th floor the next day that did not come with a balcony or city view.

PanamaThe hotel is in a strategic location. close to bus stops and the train station, it was easy to move around the city and do the many errands I had. The staff is always welcoming and warm. The breakfast is nice, but their food shines best when you go to eat at the regular restaurant time. Great variety and taste The room is very comfortable, they use feather pillows and always keep it very clean. Shower room is almost perfect with options to change temps and pressure separate

United StatesWhen I came back from a short walk, I was approached by one of the clerks and he asked me in a rude manner if I was staying in that hotel and demanded me to show him the key of my room. Being an African American, this question and the way I was asked, made me feel discriminated against. I wonder if it is the hotel policy to ask everyone who comes back to their room for proof of being a guest or they do that to just some people that might seem suspicious to them because of the way they look or because of the color of their skin.
Food was great. The hotel was clean. Some (not all) the staff were friendly.

Panamathe buffet attention of the staff and the lack of organization. They should have someone organizing the people that are staying at the hotel and the ones who just comes to eat at the restaurant; because it was one big and messy line without coordination. We stood around 20 min in line just to eat from the buffet; the guy who was serving the food didn’t had an idea of treating people and the no one was helping him.
