Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The bathroom was all broken, almost no hot water and breakfast always abysmal

Another guest was given a key to my room and entered my room!!! I did not know that other guest in any way. Luckily it happened while I was awake and in the room. I went down to the lobby and they said that they gave the key to the other guest accidentally. Never had something like that happen to me ever in a hotel.

The TV did not work in our friend's room or in our room. The maintenance man repaired our TV but it soon stopped working. Our friend's room also had faulty AC and the door didn't close properly.
Breakfast was good, they made us an omelette to order, but overpriced.

The air conditioning was extremly loud!
The suite had everything we needed and was well located. It had many TV channels (we wanted to watch the Women's Workd Cup!) and the location was perfect.

Can add small towels.
Great location by the Metro and a wonderful safe neighborhood. You are a walking distance from famous fast food or great local places. I got much more room and the quietest sleep, amazing shower.

The chipped tiles and the hole in the wall at the lower entrance of the shower.
Breakfast, room and location were excellent. And the staff was very hospitable and accommodating. I reached at the Hotel very early in the morning and was granted permission to the room before the check in time.

At checkin we were told that we should be moved to another hotel. Allegedly because the air conditioning on that floor had failed. We were then driven free of charge to a nearby hotel. Unfortunately, we had to wait a long time and the information flow was quite poor. We had to ask everything ourselves - to which hotel? Is the location safe? Why are we being transferred? The replacement hotel 'Exe Oriental Panamá' was very nice. The staff there also much more helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, when we checked out, we had to make sure that Victoria Hotel would cover the cost of breakfast, which was included in the original booking. The highlight came two days later: Victoria Hotel has indicated on booking.com that we had not arrived, but does not want to charge us for it. Does someone want to avoid the fees of booking.com? All in all, not an acceptable procedure. Therefore, it was the last time I booked here.

i noticed the bed sheets under the cover had some dirty spots in different part of the sheet

The room smelled of mold, no hand towels, called to get emergency help and name of hospital only to be told that we had to pay extra for the help. We used uber to go to san fernando hospital for treatment. There was no hair dryer in the room. Pieces of the wall was falling apart. There are no windows that open. There was a roach in the bathroom.

The rooms and furniture are old. The breakfast is not like the standard should be. A lot of Plastik and the room is like a student mensa. The personal at the Rezeption is not very friendly and helpful. I would not recommend this hotel.
