Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The staff was great. Went to watch a soccer game at the casino. And my waitress Mai was great. Also met Edwin ( from the admin side) he was awesome as well. A great and fun experience.

It is the old Veneto hotel with a bit of a facelift. Great price, big rooms with big and comfortable bed, quiet, big pool, friendly staff - location is not my favorite but easy access to everything

We stayed at this hotel one night before traveling to Colon for our cruise. Sorry that it was such a short stay. We would definitely return. Amazing hotel! The staff was pleasant and accommodating. The room was much bigger than expected. The location was perfect for us as we were able to walk across the street to the pharmacy, supermarket, and other stores. We felt very safe as there was security outside of the front of the hotel. The breakfast was fit for a king or queen.

I loved everything but more Fuit and cereal choices would have been a bonus.
The breakfast was good, the room was clean, fresh linens every day, staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and again and again.

spa closed at pool area there was no service available to serve drinks we had to get drinks from downstairs
staff was very helpfull and help there they can only the spa was still close for us to have a nice relax time there and had to go to defirent spa for treadment

There wasn't a lot expats, digital nomads, to socialize with, perhaps wrong time ayear or they stay in Casco Viejo. The area is fine, but it's not a lot of attractions, it's more a business area. I didn't walk around a lot but found myself uber to Casco viejo if wanted to socialize or see some downtown, or the Multiplaza mall that's 5 minutes Uber away.
Internet 150+ megabytes, but I had to ask the reception to activate the in-room Ethernet cable. Perfect for remote work in that aspect, desk and privacy in the room. Gym, with max 25 kg dumbbells, bench press with 25 kg plates. Cardio machines, row machine. Rooftop pool. Price at 65$ (including taxes) for a single room was fair for this high standard. Probably best price value in town, considering the high speed internet

Only one thing The Pool Closed at 7 PM. They should at least keep it open till 9 PM... We shoppers get back to the hotel late to refresh in the pool.
Everything was great food, room and attention by all the workers. We will for sure stay at this Hotel again soon.

The pool water didn't look very clean. Staff overall was not very friendly or nice especially at the front desk.
Nice room and facilities (excellent very well equipped gym, nice pool area) especially for the price. Breakfast included was decent, though was hoping for some cut fruit like papaya. Room very quiet, peaceful, and clean, nice toiletries. Provided bottled water which was helpful!
