Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeThe location, and value for money. Staff is friendly and very willing to help. They helped arrange cab for pickup/drop and were very open to help us store our suitcase when we checked-out for a trip to Machu Picchu. They also provided us with a heater for the cold early mornings, which made the stay that much more comfortable.

RomaniaThe bathroom was quite small and the sink tap only provided cold water. However the shower had warm water at all times. Although the premises of the property were quiet, the interior walls were somewhat thin and I could hear the conversations from the neighbouring room at times.
The property is located on a street close to the main square in an interior courtyard. Due to this reason, it is somewhat isolated from the street noise. Many restaurants can be found on the streets around. The room was comfortable, clean, and it had all the necessary facilities. I was also provided with a tea selection and a hot water thermos in the room everyday. The breakfast was great with many different options. On the last day they prepared a breakfast bag for me, since I was leaving very early. They also arranged for a car to take me to the airport at a very early hour.

AustraliaThe hot water in the showers were hit and miss - probably due to the building being old (we just had to be very patient with it). Another thing to be mindful is there are only stairs and no lift.
Staff were very kind and helpful with all our requests - they even surprised us with delivering hot tea to our room. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but enough to start the day. Location was ace - near the main plaza but quiet enough that you didn’t hear traffic noise.

United KingdomThis is nothing on the property but at breakfast there was a woman gargling, slurping & belching extremely loud, it was so disgusting I had to leave my breakfast and leave the hotel early because I couldn’t stand to listen to it. So rude, no disregard for other people or any basic manners, just writing this because I hope there’s a chance she sees this and doesn’t do it again!!
The ladies who checked me in when I arrived late were so lovely & the room was great, it had everything you could want and at such a reasonable price! They even brought a tray of tea to my room which was perfect after a long 4 days of hiking. Clean, comfortable & great location. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m back in Cusco

United StatesI ordered the apartment unit (similar to townhouse with upper and lower floors), but somehow they gave us the triple room (3 single beds). It is roomy but very dark because it has only one small window. The bathroom is very small but it has a large window. If you have large luggage always order the room on the first floor, otherwise you need to carry the luggage upstairs (they have 3 levels with no elevator). There is hot water to take shower but intermittent (sometimes it pours out very cold water so you need to step aside and wait for 1 or 2 minutes and the hot water will flow again). We were here on September 14 and it was cold in the room at night and early morning as well and no heater at all but there were plenty of blankets in the room.
When we arrived around 12:40 PM at Askha Cusco inn, they checked us in right away (2 keys: gate key and room key) and provided hot water with coca leaf tea to prevent altitude sickness. Three blocks of walking distance to the main square where the big cathedral is located. They provided 2 bottles of water in the room plus soaps and hairdryer. Quiet at night so we had a good night sleep. In the evening, they brought hot water with coca leaf tea again to our room. All the staff members (Liz Salas, Ruth Sharmely, Luz Nayda) are very nice and they speak fairly English; they also use Google app translator to communicate with us as well. Breakfast is very simple: eggs, bread, cereals, milk, and fruits (and available from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM). Taxi costs $15 soles ($4 USD) from the main square/hotel to Cusco airport (max $20 soles). We also paid $185 soles ($50 USD) from Cusco airport to Ollantaytambo to the taxi driver, and approximately 2 hours drive. After taking the trip we found out it was a rip-off from the taxi driver, the cost should've been $150 soles ($40 USD) or less.

Dominican RepublicThe entrance is ugly and you think you're entering into a bad neighborhood, but then the hotel is good. Not a room for couples since doesn't feel that private because the hall is on your window, which is thin.
The service is 20/10!!!! The staff if great and provides you with everything you need. You have tea and hot water, and coffee in your room, also water. Did I mention the staff is excellent?

Great hostel in cusco! Located 5min walk from main square, people are very welcoming and helpful (being welcomed even on late evening, happy to help keeping our lugages for 2 extra days, bringing us hot water and tea/infusion every evening...). Breakfast is very nice (with bread, ham/cheese, fresh fruits, avocado, scrumble eggs...). Wifi is working well. Hot shower, bed comfortable. I strongly recommend!

United StatesGreat spot! Location is only two blocks away from Plaza de Armas, but far away enough that it was pretty quiet throughout the night with no need for earplugs (and I'm a light sleeper who usually uses earplugs). The employees were all very helpful and kind. Breakfast was delicious and buffet style! Fresh local bread, fresh local fruits (like passion fruit), and lots more. We got our own little two-story apartment with two beds on the 2nd floor and the bathroom on the 1st. The place was very clean and they regularly came to clean the bathroom and provide us with more soap, toilet paper, and towels. They also have a fridge that people can use in their main area for any takeout. I have no complaints about this place, we had a super great time here!

United KingdomNothing. The place was everything we needed and the staff were amazing. Honesty would recommend this place to anyone.
Askha Cusco was an excellent place to stay. The room was perfect with heavy blankets on the beds and a radiator in the room if it got chilly. The water was always piping hot when using the shower or the sink. The breakfast was great with plenty of bread, ham, cheese, fruit, yoghurt, cereal and scrambled egg. The location was great right in main historical area. The best thing about this place was the staff who were so friendly and accomodating. They looked after our bags when we went and did the 4 day inca tour. On the day we were due to leave I got food poisoning from a local restaurant and they were able to put us up for another night and really looked after me. Everyone of the staff here are a credit to the hotel.
