We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

New ZealandShower wasn't the best, not good pressure and lukewarm. We selected this hotel as it emphasised quiet with strict rules about noise at night but one of the 3 nights people arrived at 2am, were making a lot of noise for ages, shouting and running around and we couldn't understand why the staff didn't tell them to be quiet!.
Breakfast was fine, good value. Location was excellent for the historic district, main Plaza Lima etc.

United StatesWalls are fairly thin, it was easy to hear anyone walking past our room. Shower only got luke warm which was very disappointing.
Property has a lot of character and is located right in the heart of the historic district. It’s near many museums, Chinatown and Plaza Mayor. Rooms were simple but nice. Wifi worked well and staff was friendly. The lock on the door was not very secure but the overall building security was.
