Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandWe got the room with really humid walls and bad smell. It was cold and there was no hot water - so after Machu Picchu trek we couldn’t rest properly. There was no coffee or tea during the day. Price for this place is not worth - talking about comfort and facilities.
Breakfast was okay - nice thing that when you tell day before, they prepare food for your trek. Good location

VietnamCould be better with shower and towels, but overall for 2 Nights we stay it is completely good
Good place for a money we paid, perfect location, we did not expect that it is a luxury place, bed was clean, hot water, safety enough, a lot of restaurants around, near to train station. Thank you Jesus (night front desk) for being very helpful and understandable. If you are looking for something very comfortable choose another place, in case you are going for excursions and sightseeing and will come back to take shower and sleep this place exactly what you can book.

PolandIt's a bit loud during night.
Great location, near the train station. Breakfast was simple and tasty. The stuff was really nice and welcoming. Good place to stay for one night ( value for money) if you are heading for the Machu Picchu in the morning.

United StatesWas a little cold, staff were very polite but when we asked for some extra items, like a towel, soap and even bread, they were unwilling to be flexible. Eventually another staff member was present when we asked for soap (because we extended our stay), and when the manager said no, the staff member jumped in and said "what are you doing, it's soap, give it to them". This was my only frustration.
Cost effective and good location

GermanyVery clean, well located and very helpful staff. They saved our luggage until the departure time of our train, without any complications. To reach the accomodation, the best alternative is to walk around the market.

IndonesiaAlthough there was no bar with music around, but some guests are quite loud (not the hotel's fault, of course).
Everything was simple but sufficient for an overnight stay prior to going to Machu Picchu. I stayed in window-less room, so it was warmer. There was also extra blanket. The room has a small seating area: a desk and two chairs, which was quite helpful to place stuff. Breakfast consisted of 2 breads and a banana and choice of hot drinks. The staff/owner (?) was kind enough to keep my backpack while I'm at Machu Picchu. He also gave direction to the bus stop. The hotel is located in a small alley, 5 min from train station (passing through the traditional/souvenir market), and it is more on the 'local' side of the town ( maybe) because I noticed a school nearby, as well as a sport ground. Food joints were also cheaper than the other side of the town (across the bridge, in the vicinity of main square and spa) where everything is fancy and touristy.

SwedenThe rooms are not well isolated so you can hear all the neighbouring rooms and the dining hall. It's also relatively cold as the insulation doesn't seem to be the best
The personnel at this hostel are fantastic, so is the price and location. It's also very clean

IsraelBreakfast was limited to 8:00 AM, which felt somewhat restrictive. The breakfast itself was basic, consisting primarily of coffee, one piece of fruit, a single bread roll, and limited accompaniments. Rooms were somewhat confined, with only one window facing the corridor. Furthermore, the shower water temperature fluctuated erratically between hot and cold. While the location was a bit remote, it was generally acceptable. The hostel was locked at 23:00, so you can't hang out until late. Didn't feel very welcome
The accommodation offered good value for the price. The room was reasonably clean.

United KingdomThe noise was horrendous. other guests were making a hell of a noise until 2am with children running around outside our room. Then at 5am they were shouting and whistling to each other to get up. In 2 days we didn't have any sleep.
Friendly helpful man when we arrived.

United Arab EmiratesWhere to start… 1. Upon arrival greeted by miserable, unhelpful staff member. Not sure by the other reviews about staff being friendly as we didn’t encounter any during our stay. 2. Bathroom was dirty and no hot water in sink or shower. 3. While not the fault of the hostel, there was a festival on for the 2 nights we stayed and music was so loud until 4am. Front door was left wide open so noice was even louder. The hostel was literally 2 doors down from festival. 4. Music was being played daily in the hostel from 5am. If you like your sleep or are up early for a hike DO NOT STAY HEFE. 5. Breakfast was a piece of hard bread and jam. A flask of hot water with tea bags. Not expecting lavish food but something a little more substantial knowing most people are there to trek. 6. Although the beds are comfy, the heavy blankets are itchy and not sure when last cleaned. I would not stay here again and can’t recommend it when there are so many other places for stay in the area.
Comfortable beds and close to railway.

United StatesOur shower curtain was too short for the shower and dripped water onto the bathroom floor making it a mess everyday. Since we didn’t have a bath mat l, or towel our bathroom floor was wet the entire time we stayed there as it is humid so it didn’t dry. Not a deal breaker but annoying.
Really friendly staff, great location near the train station, comfortable beds, super nice heavy blankets, really clean room.
