We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomI was recommended to stay in Miraflores but it took forever to get to/from downtown and the airport because of traffic and road work. I think I would prefer to stay in downtown.
I loved that the room was so spacious and the beds/pillows were so comfortable. We didn't do the breakfast but enjoyed welcome drinks at one of the bars. It was a nice and spacious hotel. My husband thought that the gym was nice.

The staff were most accommodating when I requested a room in the newer wing. I appreciated their friendly and helpful tips as we explored Lima. The welcome drink -either pisco sour or lemonade -was a nice touch and the service throughout the hotel was very good.

United StatesOur view was a little boring since we mainly looked into the Chinese restaurant across the street. But it was fine!
The location was fantastic and easily accessible. We loved the suite as a family - plenty of space. The shower was lovely, nice hot water and great pressure, and the beds were comfy. There were options for breakfast (additional fee) in the hotel but we preferred that only one day and enjoyed experiencing other options the other days. The hotel lobby and facilities were all very posh and while we didn't use the pool, we did enjoy the pool area and solarium. The staff was helpful and friendly. We loved the hotel!

United StatesThe bathrooms in the room have no ventilation. Also, the service provided for drivers and tours were very expensive and money was added to the regular use without consent. That was a dissapointment.
Facilities were great, very clean and the location was phenomenal. The restaurants however expensive there were pretty much yummy.
