The service was awful. We had to leave at a bus at 6:00. Since the breakfast was noted to start at 6AM, we asked that they could pack some breakfast to go for us. The lady in the reception encouraged us that this would not be necessary and that we could come to breakfast at 5:30. We woke up half an hour early especially for this - but it turned out that having breakfast at 5:30 was not possible. They also said that they could only pack breakfast if we pay 50 soles, which is a ridiculous price, especially as we already had breakfast included. No other hotel we have stayed at has ever charged a fee for this. As we started to leave, they opened the door to the breakfast room and it was clear that everything had been ready for a while, but they just didn't want to let us in. Unfortunately we had to leave hungry, as our bus had arrived at that moment..

Rooms were decent and quite big, although they were already showing signs of wear and tear.

The hotel and rooms feel a bit empty and cold. Not many details or elements that make it cozy. Would have been nice to have a coffee or tea section in the room, bathrobes or even something to use in the bathtub (salts, etc.). I think they are missing many opportunities to make it better. Breakfast was okay-ish but same as above, big space that make it feel quite a cold space. Overall not sure it met my expectations considering the price we paid.

nothing special about this hote l. i would consider it more of a miraflores vibe then San isidiro , nearby markets and expensive restaurants . the breakfast was average. you don’t get a “warm” feeling when you walk into this hotel. there’s no room service. i asked for some ice, at front desk. No one brought me any. no information regarding amenities in the room. they check your guests IDs when they come visit. which I felt was a bit intrusive. door men are more like security. they don’t help you with your bags but they want to check ids of your guests?! there’s no vagrants roaming around in this neighborhood it’s too snobby!

the bed was comfortable, room was quiet. spa tub was nice. i was allowed early check at the price of a full night..

parking lot entrance is crazy small my car barely fit, the elevators to the Parkin lot are hidden and you gotta pass right next to a service area. and on top of everything the “housekeeping and do not disturb” signs are VERY POORLY designed. both sides are black, so I’d naturally think either was “do not disturb” turns out the “housekeeping” side shows a ballet dancer with a broomstick on the top right corner of the sign…but it’s black and white so it’s unnoticeable. needles to say, I had an uncomfortable experience because housekeeping came in when I was basically naked due to the unclear design of those labels to hang on the door. I expect the hotel to change these asap and have the labels be very clear and distinguishable. food wasn’t good also but no big deal, I was probably just annoyed about the sign thing.

perfect area, super safe and calm, near a park and restaurants. the windows light up blue and that’s very very pretty.

Management's poor attitude

Stayed at this hotel several times in the past but NO More: used to be a very good hotel, well managed. What a shame it is now run by a management who have no idea what service means. Can you imagine having a simple problem, the hotel lacking any rudimentary protocol to solve the issue, yet taking their sweet time to do anything practical and then, on top of that, DOWNGRADE you to a smaller room????????????? Yes, Mme front desk maanger, a smaller room in size is a downgrade even if your eyesight fails to see the difference! The manager either was not told about it, in which case s/he has no idea what is happening at the hotel, or simply couldn't care less even if s/he were told about the issue as s/he was nowhere to be seen! Both scenarios clearly explain why I would not ever stay at this hotel.

The room key they have given did not work. When they gave it a second time, it did not work again. Shortly after the problem was resolved, an attendant entered my room without knocking on my door. When I asked why he has entered, he answered as "to close the window". It was quite an uncomfortable situation.
