Place to stay, i usually read the negatives before booking a place but i would say travelers who had negative opinion on this place might be the hardest people to please so book this and enjoy your time

I really loved the rooftop patio and bar area. It's a really nice space to hang out, eat, drink, and play games. The bar staff is so nice. There was one bartender named Grey that introduced me to many Peruvian cocktails that were really delicious. She was very kind to me and gave me good advice on places to visit while in Lima. I had a really nice lunch that was better and cheaper than some of the restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this place!

I can be loud at times, but it’s a party hostel so what do you expect

It I have to mention anything than only that I wish for more possibilities to hang towels and put down toiletries in the bathrooms. I mention this only because it's an easy fix. Please provide hooks so I don't have to use the toilet seat.

I loved my stay at Pariwana. Especially because of the amazing staff and the activities they do daily for the guests. The rooftop is very active and it makes it easy to get to know people which for me as a single traveler is very important. The location is amazing too. In the middle of Miraflores and it's safe because they have security which checks if you belong to the hostel.

Update: I knew ahead of the noise level, but not an issue for me. They provide ear plugs, and the roommates are courteous. The noise level is due to the natural acoustics, and something that can't be fixed, without a major architectural overhaul. I am not sure if it was bed bugs, or just an allergic reaction. I am about 99% sure it wasn't mosquitoes. But the staff today after reading my feedback, they went out of their ways to swap out the bed and linen with a new mattress and beddings. Super nice and accommodating. They offered different room, but I'm happy with the room and the location. The itching that accompanied in the mornings stopped, after the bedding and bed swap. Not sure, but the hostel responded quickly and super happy. At the end of the day, the staff makes an experience good or bad. This one has been great thus far. A/C in the rooms are really not needed, but each room can be changed to the preference of the resident. It can get really cold, if desired. But avg. temp at night is near 70's or slightly lower.

Likes: It all starts with the people. The staff and the other guests make this place The location is in the prime center of Miraflores, and close to neighborhoods of Sqauillo, and its local shops. Few mins. walk to the beach, and tons of options nearby. Tbh, most things are provided on site, including great bar, and meals. Great restaurants and options near by. My favorite place to hang and check out is just south east of the Hostel, in the side street off the main road. The upstairs patio, the main social hub is great. Shaded, with 20-21 Celcius, 70F during January. Need I say more?

Great shared areas for relaxing and meeting other travellers, good drinks and food, friendly staff (even the cleaning ladies- I got up early due to my jetlag and met them and they were super sweet and helpful) much cleaner than most hostels in the same price range You should be aware that it‘s a party hostel so it will be noisy until 1 or 2 am- i did not mind since I knew that when I booked :)

Location was amazing right in the center of the city. breakfast was not included in the package that I got but was at a reasonable price and tasted good. bathrooms were clean.

The bathroom was quite small and the shower slippery. A bath mat would have been very welcome. Also no hand towels for after you wash your hands.

It was very clean, the staff took care of every request, and for a private hostel room it was exactly what we were looking for: beds for heads and private bathrooms.

Rooms were very nice with plugs and lights next to the bed and good lockers. The bathrooms were really clean. The coworking space is super nice, as well as the common areas.
