Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

What a great find this place was lovely hotel in the heart of Cusco , The rooms were really nice and comfortable and the shower was really good aswell . The buffet breakfast was really nice with fresh bread and fresh fruit . This place is great value , I booked for 3 nights and left my stuff in my room then went to Machu Picchu and I would definitely stay here again . Lovely family run hotel

The only thing is, To get to the hostal you have to pass a small alley where cars drive really close to you. But that’s the only thing.
They provide fruits in the morning if you have an early tour! Also very helpful staff.

Im in love with the staff! They are really amazing and helpful. The breakfast is great and the girl’s prepare with so much love. The room is very clean and comfortable with very hot water! Is amazing after a long day. The plus is the smart tv and WiFi is really great! We stayed twice in this hotel and couldn’t recommend more!!

Unfortunately, none of the staff could speak anything but Spanish, which made it difficult for me. After the check-out, I was hit by birds poo on my hair and shoulders, but it was not possible to wash myself anywhere in the hotel. They could have been more helpful in this case. There was no hot drinking water available after the breakfast.
Comfortable and quiet room. Good location: We walked 10 min from the big plaza des armas and felt safe on the way home. The internet worked well all the times. The breakfast was delicious, we liked the fresh fruits!

A lot of noise, all night from the other inhabitants of the hotel. Very complicated to sleep. And the staff did not speak English, impossible to understand each other even with the help of a translator.
It was very clean, cleaning and towels changed every day. The location was convenient too.

No isolation at all, staff "wakes up" at 6AM with incredibly loud noises so if you plan to wake up later than 6AM, it is highly impossible to do so. Staff does not speak english

We got unlucky and we’re given a room right under the stairs. Every time someone would go up/down the stairs, que whole room would vibrate. Very loud. But it seems that poor acoustic isolation was common for most hotels around the area.
The property was clean and in good condition. It was a good value for the price. Hot shower!

The staff is fairly unprofessional (not mean though). They made loads of noise, screaming, running, laughing, at any time of the day and night and laughed it off when asked to tune it a bit down. Breakfast is plain terrible. Finally, we had to haggle for them to use a decent exchange rate at check out.
We had some big fluffy blankets. The location is fairly good with some great restaurants nearby.

Really good location near San Blas Market and the old town. It also has hot showers which is hard to come by in South America!

The beds were very comfortable and the location was convenient to San Blas and the old town, yet down a very quiet lane. Breakfast was simple, but filling. Staff were available and friendly. The bathroom was very clean and had a high pressure, hot shower. Also, great WiFi!

At check in I had to pay an extra percentage because I decided to pay with a debit card and I didn't like that. The location is good, but the hostel is on a street that does not enter cars.
Staff service was very good. I felt the effects of the altitude and they helped me.

Sometimes noisy from outside.
Close to everything in the town. Offer breakfast and taxi/laundry services which were pleasant. All of the staff were very helpful and kind. The room/beds were very clean. Hot water.

Very close to everything and you still avoid the business and noise because it’s in the side street. Super friendly staff who helped us with everything including to storage our luggage for couple of days while we went to Machu Picchu.

Room was large, shower was hot, everything was very clean and the breakfast was good and diverse. Our room was cleaned daily and we often got new towels as well. We were able to leave our luggage there during our trek to Machu Picchu. Would definitely recommend!
