Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesWhen I booked the room, it said "Concierge level, Guest room, 1 King, Corner room" and I got a room that was not at the corner. When I talk to the hotel personnel, they informed me that I've got a concierge room and they will research about the location of the room, however at check-out they didn't say anything about it.
I stayed at the hotel because the company I work for had a symposium held at Pachacamac saloon. The room was clean and ready by the time when I checked-in. It was very convenient to have the event at the same place where I stayed at.

PolandI arrived in Lima after 19h flight at 10am. I arrived in the hotel at 11:30am. I knew that the hotel policy allows check in after 3pm. I asked if there is an option for an early check in and have been offered this for additional charge of 50US$ while my room rate was 70US$/night. I found it inadequately expensive to pay for 3h almost a nightly rate. I said to receptionist that I will instead wait in the hotel restaurant and return to check in later. I started feeling quite unwell around 1:30pm so I came back to reception and ask if there is a chance they could check me in a little early. I actually asked for a act of good will given I wasn’t feeling well. To my surprise I have been sent away to wait again despite it was middle of the week and hotel wasn’t fully booked. That only shows that all that matters is $$$ but not the guests well being. Given I felt very nauseous I asked again at the reception to check me in just an hour earlier but receptionist did not show any interest constantly repeating phrases about ‚hotel policy’. There was no good will shown at all. This is not what I would expect from a 5* hospitality establishment. A complete disgrace to be treated this way and not even offered any alternative solution. At the end when I complained at the desk I have been approached by customer care manager around 2:30pm - sittings in the lobby pale for last 1h after dining in their restaurant and finally have been offered a room. No explanation or apology offered. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone as my own experience was absolutely aweful. Staff blindly following hotel’s policy will literally let you pass out in the lobby. I felt like a walking wallet rather than a human being. One thing I regret is that I didn’t decide immediately to cancel my reservation and find accommodation elsewhere. Such a disgrace under Marriot’s brand.

ArgentinaThere area is very noisy. There is a park in front of it where almost every evening (from 5 PM to 11 PM) many people gather to dance and play music. I was surprised that given that circumstance the hotel does not offer ear plugs. The noise is quite unpleasant and it is difficult to sleep or relax during those hours. Apart from that, the five star status of this hotel is not consistent with the lack of certain services, such as some toiletteries, complementary tea or coffee in the rooms, and especially a mini bar.
The hotel is the best choice if you’re staying at the city centre. The building is nice, the staff is polite, and the breakfast buffet is excellent.

United StatesThe hotel is very old, the carpet doesn't seem very clean, and the bathroom is poorly designed, making it quite slippery.
It's located in the old town center, with a large shopping mall next to it.

I like the most the attitude of the stuff to us in the Recepion- name o the lady that served us was Maria Elena who helped us to find any answer to any question we had. Another stuff that helped was The security Superviser name Stuart who escort us to a clinic near by the hotel . Helped us as a translatore with the Doctor & with buying the medicine we needed to buy. So the last one we apprichiate much was Melisa, that incharge of the Dinning Room she served us with patient and a big smile. When we left the hotel we could feel thatnothing every stuff we talked to did the best to improove our staying :))

NetherlandsShower in a bath tub with an old, dirty curtain. Really..? I expect better from Sheraton. The hotel also charges double for arranging transport. For example airport to the hotel costs you USD 40 instead of USD 20 when you take a taxi or Uber. Not very customer friendly..

United StatesThe cold...very cold weather in lima and I was surprised to learn THE Sheraton! didn't have central heating! I call the front desk about it and they were kind to send me a small portable heater. Not so efficient, but OK.
The buffet was VERY GOOD I liked specialy the "seco de cordero" the day when the "criollo buffet" was served. It's a Wonderfull idea the buffet have a different kind of food everyday!.. I think the price is fine too!
