If you walked hidroelectrica, 10km, you are quite tired, happy to be at the hostel and you have to do an online check in where the staff just doesnt care, no welcome, no water, everything costs, even a towel. Facilities were planned but they dont work well, the bathroom was all the time flooded.

I didn’t like our room or the shower/bathroom situation, it didn’t feel very clean and was very cramped - it was a get in get out kinda situation. The breakfast was absolutely TERRIBLE - a stale bit of bread and brown banana!! The worst we’ve had.

Unfortunately our room had a shower that leaked into the room because it was blocked with hair. The toilet also didn’t flush properly and was locked all night so we couldn’t use it. Being on the 4th floor made this worse. Also, the duvet stunk of BO. Overall I didn’t enjoy my time here.

The staff were great. Very friendly and very helpful. It was also quite cheap and close to shops/restaurants (but everywhere in Aguas Calientes is).

Friendly staff. The location is uphill need to walk from train station to hotel. A lot of stores and restaurants around this hotel, so it’s very convenient. And a small park beside the hotel. Very chill

- it’s a bit uphill and only for people like me with mobility issues may be a challenge going up hill everyday

- excellent staff who took great care to address my needs with disability even willing to refund me my booking money at the last moment- outstanding! I specially Angie is amazing - great amenities with a bedside lamp, storage space even for shoes, ample locker room. Comfortable beds and comforter. - private bathroom in each dorm unit so you won’t have to walk around to some common washroom area with all your toiletries - great breakfast plus hot tea and coco leaves available all the time. Water can be refilled from filter. - great vibe! Vibrant lively atmosphere all the time

There was nothing that I disliked..

Everything from the location, the staff and cleanliness of the hostel was great. Had an amazing few days with Antonella, Olivia and Santiago among other staff. The food was also delicious. I definitely recommend this place if you want to really come and enjoy what it means to be in a great hostel.

The facilities are dated and need to be cleaned better. They didn't even offer any towels. I had to pay to rent a towel.

We were supposed to have a good sleep to have excursions at the next day. This kind of hostel is no meant for that, music, noises… too many windows without curtains. No tv.. no champú

Everything was perfect. The room was clean and with a nice design. I was a bit worried because of noise that you can usually hear in a hostel, but it was all quiet during the night and we slept very well. The hotel gives also the possibility to have the breakfast starting 4:30 AM (which is perfect for those visiting Machu Picchu early in the morning.)

It could have been two bunk beds instead of a bunk bed and a twin bed.
