Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Kingdomthe bathroom was a bit cold in the evenings, also needs a repaint ( some mold was visible in the bathroom) Staff should provide receipts when accepting cash payments.
breakfast is good for a hostel, it exceeded some of the cheap hotels in the area. The bed enclosure is quite good - however it is still a noisy hostel. Staff was helpul. Laundry is opposite to the building. not far off the main square. Fairly new, modern building, comfy setup and free tea. enough storage space for the large backpack

MaltaReally nice hostel, very comfortable and clean. Also a nice little coworking area which was perfect for me as a digital nomad. They also let me leave my bags there while I went to Machu Picchu which was great. Highly recommended!

GermanyEverything was perfect.
Great hostel if you wanna travel for cheap and don't mind sleeping in a dorm with 13 other people. But you have a lot of privacy in your own little "capsule". With a light and a locker to store your things. Very modern bathroom with hot showers. There was space for me to get some work done (I work remotely) and the staff was super helpful with booking day trips and other questions. I could leeave my backpack there while I was travelling to aguas calientes (Machu Picchu). Breakfast was included and they had hot water for some tea all day available. Also great: right next to the hostel is a very cheap laundry station. 3 soles per kilo I think. Nothing to complain about. I speak spanish so it was also nice to talk to the hostel staff and chat about things.

United KingdomThe hostel is beautiful, well decorated, the facilities are all very good, bathrooms and showers are always clean (and they provide soap and shower gel), beds in shared rooms have curtains, the private double room was a delight to be in and the staff members are all incredibly friendly and helpful. Lizeth is very smiley, easy to talk to and assisted me with whatever issues I had. Its only a short walk from the main plaza. A must stay!

United KingdomGood facilities and comfy beds, the perfect pit stop between treks such as Salkantay, Rainbow Mountain and visits to Machu Picchu. I stayed here 3 times between different activities. It is always nice to have a free breakfast and the staff are super helpful, especially with storing luggage for multiple days at a time. It's not the most sociable hostel I've stayed in if that's what you're after but the value for money is great. If you feel like splashing out on a private room, the privates are really nicely done and super comfy. Some disturbance with people getting up early for treks between 3 - 5am but I imagine this happens in most hostels in Cusco given the treks on offer in the city. Thanks Way Kap! I'd definitely stay here again.

AustraliaThe social area can easily be improved making it more of a big circle instead of little tables of a restaurant vibe
I had recommendations about how chill the place is and it was precisely what I needed. Breakfast is good and the beds and the location are great. But by far the best thing about the hostel was the staff, specially Liz! The level of attention and support she provided is next level and she definitely made my stay much better! Thank you Liz!!

Breakfast is definitely one of the highlights. The location is also good! The beds are comfortable and private, even though you are sharing with other people. It has a kitchen, and the staff is really nice. I do recommend this place.

GermanyThe kitchen was dirty. Also, it is not very nice that smoking area is right in front of the kitchen and also in front of the private rooms (with shared bathrooms). The breakfast was a mixed bag, and it took especially long for the staff to restock it. We booked a tour via the hostel and it was unfortunately very rushed and stopped at these horrible tourist traps.
The room was very nice with a comfortable bed, a desk and an additional armchair. The receptionists were very helpful and friendly. Overall, the hostel had the vibe of place for grown up backpackers, hence no parties but nice community areas.

IsraelIf that place could be a little cleaner, although in general it is clean. Breakfast is a little on the low side. And the bathroom in the showers are outside the room
I ended up staying a week and a half in the hostel. The staff was great all along my stay there were attentive and nice and helpful. The rooms are pretty new and he got a locker and it's pretty quiet. I'll still is in a good location, very close to the center.
