“This is a beautiful little house with a private beach. Before arriving I was a bit worried that the lack of air conditioning would make it difficult to sleep right under the roof. But the roof has insulation, which makes a huge difference, there are windows everywhere and there is always a breeze. I slept wonderfully. The bed is very comfortable. The whole house is very cozy and had everything I needed. I loved the semi-outdoor bathroom. The views from the terrace are wonderful throughout the day. Lighting an anti-mosquito coil on the terrace in the early evening kept the mosquitos away. Thierry and his wife were wonderful hosts. While I'm not a dog person, I thought their dogs were adorable. One evening, one of the horses came to investigate my terrace. All in all, I had a wonderfully relaxing stay.”
“The location of the bungalow was fantastic with great views out to sea. It is slightly apart from the other bungalows though we hardly saw anyone else in the three days we were there. Having a pool avaliable was great for a cooling dip after being out for the day.
It had everything we needed and communication was prompt so when there was an issue with the hotwater, it was quickly fixed.
We will definitely stay at the bungalow again if we are ever in Raiatea.”
