    Everything was perfect.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in February and had a fabulous time. The location is perfect, close to the best beaches and amenities but also far enough outside of town for peace and quiet. The accommodation is fantastic with a beautiful pool, bedroom, lounge, dining area and kitchenette. The hosts were excellent and very attentive. The breakfast was outstanding. This really is an excellent find and a real gem!

It was my own mistake…I should have rented a car

Great place to chill out. The pool and the view are amazing as are the hosts. JF & Patricia go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The private space is immaculate. and the breakfasts are great. Bed extremely comfortable and AC is a plus. Can’t say a bad word about it. Thank you so much.

    N/A

I spent my first night in Tahiti at the "soleil couchant" and this is was my last night in Tahiti. My solo trip couldn't ending more perfectly! I forgot to mention the amazing Breakfast provided with an extra 1,200FCP which totally worth it :):) Jean-Francois's omelette was to die for. you will have some viennoiresrie and fruit as well. The stay was so quiet and relaxing. I will come back for sure to my next trip, they provided me with some tips for my future trips in French Polynesia :) Merci Patricia et jean-Francois, you are amazing people I am glad to have meeting you :)

My first attempt on finding this location was challenging - as many accommodations in this area are. My subsequent drives to this accommodation were easy and without difficulty.

The stay with John and Patricia at Au Soleil Couchant was extraordinary! Everything was beyond expectations. The accommodations were safe, clean and amazing. The view will take your breath away at sunset. If you are into loud parties, loud music or arrogance, this is not the place to go. If you seek warm hospitality, safety, cleanliness, and quiet, this will be heaven. We were given an option for a breakfast for an additional charge. The breakfast was delicious and far more than what we could eat. I have stayed at many locations around Tahiti and this may be the absolute best.

    Nothing Rien

What to say about this little gem in Tahiti! Patricia and Jean-Francois will welcome you like family. I traveled solo, and been welcome like this the first day/night wow! I arrived very early due to my flight. They offered me coffee and fruits to wait for the other guests to leave. The Pool is just wow, with that incredible view. It is quiet and peaceful. The bedroom and bathroom are super clean, spacious enough for 2 people (I was alone), separate entree. The road to get there is steep, but easy, turn left at the Eden Rock and then it will be straight and you will turn at Lot N. Easy Peasy :) Patricia and jean-Francois are super host! I asked them for recommendation such as Pearl and Vanilla and they hooked me up with his incredible person for the pearl and will get the Vanilla while I am at Moorea... yes I am spending my last night as well with them! My last sunset will be perfect, my last night will be less bitter to go home. I am originally from France but live in LA. Thank you Patricia and Jean-Francois, I will be back!

The location is great as it is close to the famous PK18 beach. The place is very peaceful and clean. Also you can enjoy the magnificent sunset while relaxing in the salt water pool. We also liked how we were welcome with complimentary drinks. Simple gestures that are really appreciated. Definitely a place to stay at.
