Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

New ZealandNo plug for the kitchen sink. The 3 rooms were separated by sets of sliding doors. Central room between bedroom and bathroom was partially open to outside which enabled mosquitoes to enter. Insect repellent recommended. Lighting in bathroom was minimal.
Excellent breakfast delivered to our room. Locally made toiletries were very nice. Shower worked well. Abundant fish life off the deck of our suite plus sharks and rays seen at twilight. Eileen was very helpful in organising transport and a tour. Nearby Holy Steak House was very good for dinner and included a pick up service. Small supermarket within easy walking distance.

United StatesNothing at all- it was a favorite of our trip and we would definitely return.
This is such a wonderful property- the years of care and personal time invested by the owner and staff are evident in every turn. Location is so convenient, but when there you feel separated from the daily life of the island enterprises. It’s a little slice of heaven on Moorea. The grounds of the hotel itself are fascinating and overflowing with tropical trees and flowers and statuary. The cats are so friendly and make it feel like home (but we love animals). The entire staff want nothing more than for you to relax and enjoy and will go out of their way to assist you with anything they can. They were all so nice and helpful and pleasant. We ordered breakfast each night and it was delivered promptly the next morning and was delicious every day. We were out exploring or doing activities most days so weren’t there much during the daytime. We had a couple nice dinners out and had delivery from Holy Moly Steakhouse one night when we wanted to stay in. So several choices for dining options in your suite or nearby depending on your schedule and preferences. We had a rental car from Avis that we picked up at the ferry port in Moorea and dropped off at the airport in Moorea which I would recommend to make it easier to get around. It was very easy to navigate around the island. But several of the restaurants and activity coordinators will gladly pick you up and drop you off at the hotel if you don’t want a car. It was a very safe location and we had a mixed crowd of guests during our stay. Solo female travelers, couples with very small children, mixed generational families (grandparents, parents, older children, etc), and some couples either honeymooning or vacationing. It was a nice mix and everyone just kind of did their own thing. It never felt crowded or too full. It was perfect.

United StatesThis has nothing to do with the resort, just a culture of the island...resources such as taxis or resteraunt availability, is VERY limited. All of the taxis, all of them, may be at the ferry dock and not operating near you unless you have pre-arranged. You order dinner for delivery no later then 3pm, if you want to eat at 7pm. Waiting to decide where you eat, means you will not eat.
Magical property, but don't tell anyone about it! It is a amazing secret. This property is a labor of love and passion as you will see in displayed in the plants and artwork. Every nook and cranny is thought of. Snorkel/surf directly out of this lagoon. What not to expect: No poolside shennanigans and nothing moves quickly. Schedule resteraunts and taxi's before you leave!!! If you wait, "it will not be possible". Rather, plan ahead. Beds are best we have had in our travels. It's tropical, so bugs are a thing, just know that. Eileen will handle your every need.

New ZealandWe're so glad we chose to stay here - it's such a beautiful and peaceful place. The location is quiet and private, but just a short walk or drive to restaurants and nearby places to explore. There's a grocery store just up on the main road that is well stocked with food supplies and drinks. We found marinated fish and sushi in the food cabinet, which made an ideal ready-made meal to enjoy in our room. For anyone that wants to see tropical fish but doesn't want to snorkel, this is the place - and for anyone that does like to snorkel, this is the place. We loved being able to sit on the deck and watch fish of all colours and sizes swim around our feet. As well as a variety of smaller fish, we saw manta rays during the day then eagle rays and [friendly/timid] reef sharks at night. The resident cat politely ignored us until we decided to make friends, after which it was lovely to have him join us one evening for a spot of fish watching. The deck was so relaxing and peaceful we could have happily spent our entire stay there. The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The air-conditioning and wi-fi worked well. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would love to go back.

United StatesBring insect repellent with you. There's AC inside the bedroom, but it's open floor concept, so instead of enclosed room, there's an open garden bamboo that give you privacy but does not prevent mosquitos from coming in the living room area. Not wheelchair friendly. Rooms are separate by patio glass door. You can hear loud noise from boat passing by or jet ski rental sometime.
Love the private patio overlooking the lagoon. You can see sunset and sunrises from the patio. You can see fishes right in the water. We also saw stingray. There's no restaurant at the bungalow, but you can order food from front desk. There's a common bar area and common game room if you don't want to stay in your room. The decoration is very spa like with in-door pond. There's a market and food places within walking distance from the bungalow. Tour will come pick-up from this location.

United KingdomThe only "issue" we encountered was that the staff forgot to top up our tea and coffee so we had to ask for our tea and coffee to be topped up a few days into our stay. They were very quick and responsive when we asked so it wasn't really a problem at all

New ZealandThe stay was pricey for the fact that it didn't include free use of kayaks (was around 1000 CPF/hour). Kayaking around wasn't as easy as we expected. There's many rocks/coral around the hotel's water which makes it tricky to get out/come back.
Absolutely amazing room and stay. Everything is beautifully decorated and we had more amenities than we needed (coffee machine, 2 mini-fridges, kettle, toaster, etc.). The deck out onto the water was bliss and we wanted to spend as much time as possible there. The staff even let us stay in the common areas and deck past our checkout.

United StatesThere were a lot of tiny bugs that bit us down by the waterfront, but I guess that's part of being on a tropical island. It was off-season, so the hotel was very quiet, which was nice and relaxing, but almost a little too quiet for us. We had a garden view room which had a little outdoor kitchen and covered patio. We wish the patio had a ceiling fan to give us a little relief from the heat and humidity.
The hotel grounds were incredible. It was like walking through a lush jungle that opened up to the beautiful oceanfront. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and uniquely furnished. It was a very nice, relaxing place.

GermanyThis is a very small (5 bungalows as far I know) hotel and ours was just beautiful. The entire place is very tastefully decorated (mixture of local and European styles) and just the thing of you adore beautiful surroundings. There is a large deck right over the lagoon with more than enough sunbeds, tables for all the guests (no fighting over the best sunbeds necessary). The shallow reef is wonderful for snorkelling, with corals and fish right there. In the evening, sharks and stingrays swim by. There are also kayaks and snorkelling gear for rent - a popular stingray spot is not far away. The location is beautiful and the deck means boat excursions can drop you off or pick you up right there. There is one well-stocked general store nearby and nice restaurants doing delivery. Staff was amazing, too! And the wifi was about the fastest in all the islands.

United StatesWe were disappointed that we were not able to book any tours through the host Eileen. It’s best to book boat rides and tours ahead of your stay.
Located in a nice part of Moorea. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The common areas were lovely and it was a treat to watch the manta rays and sharks at night. You need a car to get around because taxis are expensive and restaurants and beaches are too far to walk. The kayaks were a welcome addition as we were able to get across to the motu (island).

CanadaThere are likely few accommodations in the world that can compare to this one. From the moment you arrive you are warmly welcomed and surrounded by so much beauty. The entire property is a living work of art. Such beauty takes care and work, and it’s a testament to the fine staff. There are lots of common areas by the water to relax comfortably and drink in every detail, preferably with a beverage and good book. It’s the perfect place to relax and reconnect with what’s truly important in life. Our garden room was perfect, with privacy and everything we could need. Gorgeous, large shower with great water pressure. While we normally preferred to prepare our own meals, we did appreciate and enjoy the fresh breakfast pastries and juice that we ordered in advance. Truly a special place. Brava, merci!
