The view from our room wasn't great, and the room was on the small side but otherwise it was great!

This is a fabulous property right in the middle of everything in Papeete. It is between the airport and the ferry, making it easy to access either, plus they will give you access to the facility after your check-out if you have to wait for your transit. Perfect fresh water pool with plenty of space and fantastic views - especially of the sunset over Moorea!

small thing but when asking the pool man for a second towel it was answerd "not possilbe, everybody will get 1 towel only" and this - even not the most imprtant factor - in a 4 to 5 star HILTON ....... beaches fat away from Hotel - need taxi or other transport

$15 charge for room service after I dropped $600 at pool bar that very day.

Pool area, pool bar, room. Great for a day or two stop over in Pape’ete, or if you want more time on Tahiti. Pricey but worth it. Near airport. Food good.

One breakfast the service was really slow and I couldn't get coffee but it seemed that there was a staff shortage. The maitre d' at breakfast was the loveliest woman and kept it all going in a very charming unruffled way

Most of the staff were wonderful, breakfast was okay, our room was lovely . I loved the pool. The staff at one of the restaurants were so helpful in fitting us in on our last night

Service was very slow at dinner time when the hotel was well occupied. Breakfast was extensive but a bit too expensive.

Great swimming pool, spacious rooms, even with two queensize beds if available, location close to Papeete, airport and the harbour, helpful staff, lovely and large entrance to the hotel and lobby. The location and position of the lobby, like more good spaces in Papeete allows a pleasant sea breeze to go through it. A Carrefour supermarket easily walked to by a bridge crossing the road.

Communication pre-check-in was confusing. Recommend SAM Asian restaurant, but feel hotel not best suited for solo travelers. Breakfast buffet was lovely but could benefit from better tea and coffee

I found food and bev to be quite expensive. Service, though pleasant and friendly, was slow - I was not in a hurry, but did have to wait quite a bit for drinks. I asked about posting a card, and was told to go to the airport. I wasn’t leaving by air, so a 4,000F taxi trip to post a card wasn’t a good suggestion, and I would have appreciated someone, the concierge perhaps, to be able to take a card and post it for a guest.

Too many mosquitos :) One small tip: Be sure to book taxi for departure in advance otherwise you wait very long.

We just used the hotel for a pit-stop in between flights. The room-service was on point, the beds comfy and the check-in and check-out were very smooth.

At early morning check out, I asked for the breakfast boxes, having previously arranged and confirmed them the night before, but the request had been FORGOTTEN! We waited a VERY long time while the kitchen prepared the boxes. Fortunately they were delivered to us in the taxi just as we were about to depart for the airport. There was MORE than enough breakfast in the boxes so we shared the contents with a fellow traveller while waiting in the very overcrowded airport. Hilton Hotel Tahiti is a superb place to stay in comfortable rooms close to the city, cruise port and airport with many onsite restaurant choices and we enjoyed our two stays there.

The Hilton's location conveniently halfway between the cruise port in the city and airport and adjacent to a supermarket across the highway by overpass, were the reasons for our choice of accommodation in Papeete, Tahiti in July 2024. For this second of two stays we requested a room closer to reception and the restaurants and this was delivered. Because we had to catch an early morning flight and therefore missed the exceptional buffet breakfast, the abundant breakfast boxes the hotel provided were more than sufficient and much appreciated.
