The food is overpriced and they need to change their menu, it’s the same food everyday. Chef can be more creative by adding more flavours. They need to have the beach cleaned first thing in the morning.

Paradise on earth. Should be at the top of everyone’s bucket list. Very nice staff. Love the glass table in the living room. Crystal clear beach. Turquoise water.

I occasionally had problems getting through the concierge button when I was trying to make a restaurant reservation. There was a French message and nothing happened. I also had some problems with the Instant Service button on the phone where nobody picked up

The holiday really began when I received the fresh tiare lei at the Bora Bora boat deck. I kept it in the room for several days as it remained fragrant. The general manager greeted me at the welcoming area and she was outstanding the entire stay. The fresh hot towel and juice was nice after my long flights from Finland. My luggage was magically whisked to my OWB during a welcoming tour. I got OWB number 5 which was conveniently close to the restaurants. No need to walk a long way. I had a mountain view OWB and it was magical. I stayed many days on the terrace just admiring the view. I’m very pale and burn easily so I moved my sun chair to the shade as I managed to burn a little even on the first day. I felt the OWB looked better live than in photos I had seen prior to the trip. I don’t think it looked dated. The wooden decor in the OWB was impressive.

No getting away from it, its very expensive to stay in this kind of hotel/overwater bungalows. In context of this sort of accomodation it was value for money. we had a fabulous time and decided it was worth it for us on this occasion. couple of very small niggles that didnt affect our overall experince; the buffet mains were a bit avergae , not great choice for vegetraians. the polynesian dance show was not as high quality but we still really enjoyed it. I was given a paddle board with no fin , was changed straight away for another when i brought it back but i noticed they sitll gave it out to other people this way. the double bed is singles put together and was a bit soft for our taste. very small thing but they had asked if we were traveling for special occasion which we were (40th bday) but then there was no acknowledgment of this, was expecting maybe a happy birthday note in the room of something (the bar staff did sing happy birthday when i gave them candles for the dessert and were very charming).

we stayed 2 nights in an overwater bungalow mountain view. the views were as beautiful as the pictures, even with changable weather, its even better in person, the colours are amazing. worth getting up at dawn for the gorgeous sunrise. we got the transfer from the airport which is more expensive than going independently but so glad we did becasue it was amazing, views, super friendly boat driver and a really exciting way to arrive. We liked that the decor of the bungalows was more luxuary rustic rather than sleek modern . the glass table was the best feature. room is large, felt very secure. the deck and access to the crystal clear turquoise waters are fabulous. great they are helping grow coral under the bungalows. we went out for a paddle on the outrigger canoe and used the paddle boards and kayaks. if we had stayed a little longer would have gone further out, but thats very weather dependent. there is a sheltered shallow area around the bungalows so safe to swim even if it does get windy and rainy. saw colourful fishes and eagle rays from the bungalow but need to go further afield to see more. we prefered being on the main island for this, our first time to Bora Bora. The dessert part of the evening buffet was exceptional- proabaly the best hotel desserts at a buffet we've ever had. breakfast has good selection, lovely teas. Staff are friendly and calm , the owner makes a point of greeting everyone and checking in with guests. The sand is soft and pristine , the pool is sort of not needed in such a great setting but is a lovely quiet oasis and open till late, was really nice to swim at night in the rain. matira beach is very very close and is gorgeous and there are snack bars and cocktails avilable very close to the hotel if you are staying longer and want some variety. also kitesurfing and all the usual tours. overall we wished we could have stayed longer but the 2 nights was a fabulous experince..

The food was mediocre to inedible. Breakfast and lunch were fine but dinners were not. The last dinner I was served was a pork dish that consisted of a square of pork skin, gristle and fat. Disgusting!

The staff was exceedingly polite, gracious and helpful. The facilities are beautiful with many activities for every taste.

Warm welcome, incredible view and snorkeling beneath your feet. We were happily surprised by how amazing everything was. The staff was welcoming, food was good and the views/little extras really made our trip really special. It’s more expensive but definitely worth it!

Elements of our bungalow were a bit tired, and sometimes, the service in the restaurant was inconsistent. We had a misunderstanding on arrival, but the issue was dealt with speedily and professionally..

The location was fabulous with breathtaking views of the lagoon. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bungalows were clean, comfortable, and had all you needed.. The food and drink.offerings also really good and, on comparison, not too badly priced. (You expect to pay more on an island in the middle of an ocean).

No sauna, no heated pool; so in case it rains, you have very few things to do.

The staff is amazing! Everybody is so nice! The resort is simple and relatively small, but also very cozy! The beach in front of it is one of the most beautiful ones in the entire island! Crystal clear blue water. The prices of food and beverages are good and there are a few other options of restaurants really close to the resort. My husband and I spent 8 days there and loved each one of them!
