Nothing, it was perfect.

The place was perfectly clean, comfortable and quiet. We stayed in another part of the lodge, but was exactly as expected if not better. We chose this area as a one night option close to the airport. The owner also organised a tour for us which was excellent, and pick up from the ferry, a trip to the supermarket and then a lift to the airport. In reality it was a sort of one stop shop for everything we needed in Papeete. It may not be the Hilton, but I think much better value for money.

We could not have been made more welcomed by the entire family. Our room was spartan but very comfortable and adjacent to the very well-equipped shared kitchen and dining area. I would recommend the Lodge to anyone wishing to enjoy its genuine Tahitian hospitality.

Not a thing!

Very clean & close to the airport. Reva picked us up at the airport & drove us to the lodge, complete with a Welcome lei. Super nice staff. Very pleasant stay!

Reva was so very accommodating in giving us a ride to and from our tours and airport. The lodge is up in a very nice neighborhood, but I would recommend a car or cycle to be able to get around so as not to impact the owners.

Reva and her husband were excellent hosts. The room was spacious, very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and served outside in their lovely garden. We had use of the kitchen and the washer and dryer rack. It was a very enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend this lodge.

You need a car, difficult to walk places.

Excellent hospitality by Reva and the staff at Manaeva lodge. Very tidy, warm welcome, beautiful garden, free shuttle from the airport and to the ferry, and easy to hire a car and get a SIM card. Mauruuru!

There is nothing we didn't like about the lodge, but it is a bit far from groceries and shopping if you don't have a car.

We loved the quiet vibe of the lodge. We had a room with private bath, comfy bed, and a/c, along with a beautiful garden. The shared kitchen was steps away and we mostly had the place to ourselves. It was very clean and there was everything we needed to have a nice breakfast and to enjoy our take-away dinner. The hosts are warm and friendly but you have lots of privacy as they are upstairs. There were some mosquitos, but that's everywhere in the rainy season. Our host came to pick us up from the ferry terminal (with leis!) and presented us with a delicious fruit platter and juice. They loaned us a very reasonably priced car so that we could tour the island. They also took us to the airport when our stay was over. Very kind and helpful hosts, they made our visit so pleasant.

Mosquitoes are present, so do take care!

The hosts are really amazing and made me feel at home! They will greet you and drive you back to the airport and they'll cook you a delicious homely meal! :) Very nice premises and comfortable room near the airport, but far away from the noise! A car rental is available at the property and is very convenient!

Everything from booking the accomodation, to the day they dropped us back at the airport, everything was exceptional. Reva was so accommodating, friendly and amazing. Thank you so very much for taking good care of my parents.

If you have lots of luggage, be prepared to walk down stairs to your room.

Reva is friendly, helpful, and welcomed us like family. The free airport shuttle and reasonable-priced transportation to downtown were much-appreciated! The bed was comfortable, breakfast was excellent, and we appreciated the AC. We even rented a car from her and explored Tahiti for an afternoon.

Airport pickup and drop off was wonderful. The outdoor area was lovely. Hosts were great. They even prepared us a lovely home cooked dinner for a reasonable price. Very happy.

Reva, the owner was amazing. We stayed 5 x at this property and Reva was very helpful with picking us up and dropping us off at the airport each time. We hired a car from her x3 and bought SIM cards. The whole service was superb. I cannot rate her highly enough . She even helped us sort out some difficult issues with our passport

Up in the hill, not a great surrounding area for walking. Room had adjacent rooms and areas full of storage. The room itself was clean and nice enough, just squeezed in between rooms of staff. Says there’s a spa -it’s a small, seemingly unused hottub, on the side of the house.

Very clean, friendly staff. Loved the welcoming fruit and juice. Great balcony and felt very safe.

Owner is very nice to accommodate us with 3little kids. Breakfast is great. We stay here for one night to lay over to bora bora. The owner provides transportation to and from airport which is super convenient.

Lovely hosts. Greeted us with a prepared fruit bowl. Were so helpful, sorted taxis out for us and then ran us to the airport in their courtesy car. The room was large and a full kitchen and facilities including washing machine could be used.

You should have a working sim card that works to help with goggle maps. We spent a good hour finding how to get to the lodge. Have Riva put in directions... maps has the wrong address. The lodge is in a residential neighborhood on the side of a mountain, close to the airport.

Riva picked us up from cruise ship for $20, was a gracious host the entire 4 days we were there, had a great breakfast, also rented a car from the lodge, she tried to put in a Sim card for 2 phones but our phones wouldn't cooperate, the property is a garden with beautiful flowers. Access to kitchen with toaster, purified hot and cold water, plates and silverware, fresh fruit. Rive took us to the airport at 5 am. to come home. Great visit.

Location does not have views or many local amenities. Access to lodge and any other areas requires transportation.

Great hotel for stopover on Tahiti. Shuttle to/from the airport very helpful. They made renting a car very easy. Rooms very comfortable to meet needs. Access to a small kitchen was really nice and helpful. Reva and her staff were very helpful and responsive. Fresh fruit and juice upon arrival were great.

Everything was great! Really friendly owner who picked us up really late at the airport and welcomed us with flower lays. The breakfast was so yummy with fresh juice, pastries and meats. The room had everything we needed, and the aircon was a real plus. The garden/terrace is lovely. We were also given gifts on our departure. Amazing experience, thank you!!
