The location was great for both snorkeling, surfing and just relaxing!

The owners were very friendly and accommodating. They checked on us often to make sure we had everything we needed, and to see if we needed any help or suggestions navigating the area. They also set up a 4X4 excursion to see the island, which was wonderful. There were also many activities to do without leaving the premisses. We were able to snorkel right from the beach. Tons of life in the lagoon area. The area was quiet and I felt very safe. Shopping and places to eat nearby. The food at the lodge was very tasty. This place far exceeded my expectations, and I plan to bring my whole family back to stay here.

Everything was excellent. The owner welcomed us in a very warm and friendly manner, was always available, and provided us with every possible service. Additionally, we had dinner with him and his wife, which was an excellent experience. The food was of outstanding quality, all organic and fresh. The service was top-notch. The house was cozy, clean, and equipped with every amenity. He assisted us until the very end in an outstanding way. Highly recommended!

The only thing I would have liked to see would be A/C. The loft can get pretty hot at night, but opening the roof window and the fan made it manageable. But it sounds like he is working on getting that installed. So, my next stay may have to be moved to a 10.

This was the best place we stayed in Tahiti. A very nice & friendly couple runs the place. You barely need to leave the grounds and so much more is close by. The black beach is your backyard with a coral garden beyond that. The Taharuu Surfspot is just down the street. You could probably walk there if you wanted. The Water Gardens Vaipahi is not far to the east. And there's a few hiking trails not far as well. A grocery store is where you turn off the main road with the best fish market just a couple doors down from that. You have a full kitchen, but they will make you an amazing homemade breakfast or dinner as well. They also offer laundry service for a reasonable price. That saved us in the middle of our 2½ week trip from trying to find where we could do it. We didn't want to leave.

Lots of mosquitoes and spirals aren’t allowed

The beach is great, amazing snorkeling right off the shore, one of the best we experienced on both Moorea and Tahiti. Lovely and quite property, Alexy was very nice. Also appreciated the outdoor hose/shower to wash off the salt and sand, very convenient.

Beautiful and relaxing. The owner is very nice and his cute dog Malibu. Snorkeling is fantastic from the beach. Just a great vibe and no roosters in the morning!🥳

Internet was a bit on the slow side (but that was typical at most places visited). It would be nice to have screened windows since it's a tropical country.

The hosts were amazing!!! The hospitality was second to none. The breakfast was great and the local cuisine dinner was definitely one of the best meals I had during my 1 week trip to French Polynesia.

The property is in a private location on a quiet beach. The owners (Alexi and Lovina) are friendly and, helpful. There is great snorkelling just off the beach, and a sandy swimming beach nearby. The beach is fantastic for star-gazing. On our last evening, we had a dinner prepared by Lovina. I would highly recommend it. It was a delicious meal of local dishes.

Very helpful couple who own and run Manomano. Excellent meals, including super fresh fish and local vegetables such as breadfruit, taro root and plantain. The late check out and taxi for my midnight departure all sorted with a smile.

Exceptional hosts Alexy & Lovina are gems! Lovina is a great cook! Villas were perfect for us, a family of 3. Villas are suitably located right on a private beach. We loved it!

We loved staying at Manomano Lodge! Alexis and Lovina are so nice and helpful. The lodge is located on a beautiful and very unique beach, the snorkeling was amazing!! We were going to spend the day exploring the island but that beach was so beautiful that we spent the day there! The place was clean and spacious. We purchased the breakfast and it was delicious! We didn't have the chance to try the dinner but I wish we had. It's located near a surf beach and theres a supermarket nearby. I would recommend renting a car to move around because it's a little far from restaurants, but it wasn't an issue for us. And the kitchen is well equipped so you can cook there too. It was a wonderful stay!! I hope we can go back!

No sea view from the studio. After a round trip in French Polynesia and having stayed on 8 accommodations of similar category, it was the first time there was no mosquito net nor any powered repellant offered in the lodge. Spirals were forbidden because of the risk of fire. In the other lodges such products were offered, even the spirals. This yielded to a lower comfort with plenty of mosquitoes especially during a rainy stay. No warm water during rainy days.

A few more days in paradise!

This place was just what we needed after a cruise, excursions, etc. Just sat on the beach for two days with an occasional dip in the ocean and a little snorkeling. The Mrs. cooked out breakfasts and dinners. Didn't know what we were getting for dinner until we sat down - pretty cool. The owners were beautiful people - one of those come as strangers leave as friends places. No AC but it cooled off nicely as soon as the sun went down. No screens on the open windows but we never saw a mosquito. It was a beautiful step back. Not everyone would like it but it was a blessing for us. Bring water shoes, the beach is covered with bits of coral.

Only thing i would say was the weird smell in the upper double bed.. it was dry and clean but it smelled like it was not properly dry… but the bottom ones were not smelling like this :)

The property is really root vibes and the staff is SOOOO GENTLE AND ATTENTIVE! What me and my friends liked the most was the beach right in front of it with the facilities provided from the hotel such as kayak, snorkeling, water shoes, sun beds and showers. The breakfast was great, fresh and even though my friends had food restrictions, as they are vegan, the staff made the food fit perfectly for what we needed!

Great location in a beautiful area… Beautiful black sand beaches right on the property. Super friendly and hospitable owners, make you feel right at home. They take excellent care of the grounds and even went out of their way to help me clean a wound from an injury. 1000% recommended!!!
