I think the only thing was that the room was a little warm, but we come from a cold climate so that was probably to be expected in such a warm area.

Nice, clean facilities with a great view, but the best part were the owners. They were so nice and accommodating. I found the place on a Google search and really lucked out with this place.

The hotel exceeded my expectations.

The hotel is located close to the airport. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. The view was also very nice. But the owners' hospitality was exceptional. We got excellent dinner recommendations and how to tour the island by car. There is parking available on site.

As I had three suitcases I did not like how you got to the rooms. I had to carry them up and down several stairs, which was not easy.

The location is close to the airport. It was very modern and clean. The host met us when we arrived and showed us to our rooms.

A small lodge very near the airport, but very nice new rooms, nicely decorated and very clean. Extremely friendly and accommodating young owner. Since we had a continuation of the trip, we were able to leave one piece of luggage with them in storage. I highly recommend it for an overnight stay

We needed a place to stay overnight after arriving late at the airport before an early flight the next morning. The owners were incredibly helpful and responsive to several questions I had. They stayed up late to greet us and check us in our room and arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the airport and return us in the morning. The room was nicely furnished and was very clean and comfortable. We were very satisfied and would strongly recommend the lodge for anyone looking for an affordable and convenient place to stay in Papeete.

There is nothing to dislike

Manager Tahia was very helpful. The boutique cabin we had was new, meticulously clean and modern. An added bonus was that the property has three cars to rent and Tahia provided us with a fantastic tour itinerary. Netflix, free wifi in the room as well as free wifi in her hire cars are added bonuses. This is the best place we have stayed at in Papeete. We will definitely be back.

The lodge was a perfect place to stay while in Tahiti. It was very convenient for us that the host picked us up from the airport and dropped us off after our stay. She was welcoming and friendly. The rooms are new and well maintained. It was a quiet place and I recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay near the airport.

The hosts are beautiful! They greeted us upon arriving and showed us to our rooms. They helped to schedule a taxi early a.m. to get to the airport. They offered their car but it wouldn’t fit all of us and our luggage. They were extremely friendly and sweet. The rooms are modern, gorgeous and very clean. The A/C is powerful and quiet which we truly appreciated as it was the summertime and we had arrived from a place that had no A/C. They have very good coffee in the rooms. The bathroom is very well supplied with plush towels and high end toiletries. The decor and furnishings are obviously well thought out to accommodate guests with even the most discerning tastes. Blankets, bedsheets and pillows are high quality. There are even well placed outlets to charge your devices. The nightly rate is surprisingly low for the lodge. We would have loved to stay longer than one night. It is very conveniently close to the airport. We do not hesitate to highly recommend Ononui Lodge! Even if you’re not looking for a place near the airport, it’s worth staying here.. it is not far from anything and they have a car for you to utilize. You will love to return to your beautiful, comfortable room after a day of sightseeing.

Nothing at all. This was perfect for our purposes.

Within minutes of making a reservation we were contacted by The Lodge. They asked our flight details and told us they would be picking us up. Not something that happens in the US very often. After a long flight we were picked up and taken to the Lodge, and given cool, refreshing water and sliced mango as we checked in. The room was perfectly spotless, had everything we needed and the location was right by the airport. That makes it ideal for a one night stop in and out of the islands. Tahia arranged for our Taxi the next morning to take us to the ferry, and everything was right on time. People are so pleasant and accommodating here. I truly felt so well taken care of and appreciated.

Some road noise especially the two-stroke motorcycles but easy to ignore.

The property was not hard to get to but is compact with a great layout. The owners are wonderful people who will always make an effort to make as easy as possible. Food can be accessed by delivery with facility available either on the terrace or in front of your room. Clean and new made it comfortable to stay here. Good A/C and vented windows.

Tahia and Raimiti were amazing hosts! The property was clean and modern and has a nice balcony. They picked us up from the airport and helped us to get a taxi for our early morning departure. We rented a car from them for one day and had a great drive around the whole island. They gave us fresh fruit from a tree on the property when we returned at the end of the day :) The property is close to the airport, which was very convenient.

The property has a very good location, close to the AirPort. The amenities are great, they have fruits growing in the backyard, amazing! The room is New, I has the most wonderful sleep. The hosts are amazing, very kind and eager to help us in everything we needed (or didn’t know we needed). Definitely recommend! 🤍
