A little out of the way but with a car that was not a biggie.

Location was ideal for my stay. The breakfast was fantastic with fresh and hot pastries and wonderful coffee. The staff were very helpful, friendly and treated me like one of their family.

Couldn’t get aircon to work in the small room so was very hot but we were so tired we got some sleep anyways. If we were staying longer I’m sure getting it sorted wouldn’t be a problem at all though.

So grateful for the easy check in at 3:30am because our flight was delayed, so friendly and hospitable. Kids loved the pool!

Pare Lodge is in a lovely location surrounded by beautiful gardens. The Lodge is close to the hospital and within walking distance to several good supermarkets, the food trucks and to Papeete town. The swimming pool is a real bonus after a big walk.

This is certainly not the fault of the host but there were neighborhood roosters and dogs barking early in the morning. However, bringing earplugs remedied this situation for me.

A cappuccino was ready and waiting for me when I wanted it in the morning. The host was welcoming and the house was impeccably clean.

They did not clean your room daily, but would bring you anything you need. Actually since the main house has open areas it made you feel your living space was much bigger. There was always coffee available to make and an Ice cold water machine to add fresh cold water to your container.

The continental breakfast was excellent! Staff was friendly, grounds were very well kept and was close to Hospital. When you came onto the grounds it was like walking into paradise! I also stayed at Tahiti Nui hotel, but this was a much more personal and Tahitian experience. I would definitely come back here when I return.

You need a car to drive around, but it's conveniently close to downtown as well as supermarkets and public beaches.

We had a lovely stay here. Very sweet family that owns this place which has a pool, good location and comfortable beds. Everything you need when staying near the city center in Papeete.

Clean and comfortable. Jeanie was amazing on this last minute booking. Breakfast was the best with homemade guava jam. Facilities like a little piece of paradise with local fruit trees, of course lots of birds. Peaceful. I would love to return in the future for a more extended period. I can't thank her enough.

Expected to arrive at lodge 4am 22/9/22. Flight NZ902 left Ak 6.45pm. Flight returned to NZ 1.48hrs out of Papeete. Never got to accomm at Lodge or Tiki Hotel. Reviewed lodge because after I explained my 'no show' they did not charge me. A similar happening at Tiki Hotel. They said they would charge me but have not. However they did not email saying they had decided not to charge. The Lodge was very good to me and very accommodating due to the circumstances. I did not go up to Tahiti. This was a shame as I was really looking forward to it.

My peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Papeete and the hospital. This has been my wee haven and saving grace while my husband was in hospital. Its a great location 5 min walk to the hospital, 5 min walk to supermarket, 5 min walk to the night food market and not far from the centre of town and the markets.

the location, it’s a bit far from the center but still okay

the quality of the facilities, the cleanliness of the bedroom and the linen. the owner is very sweet, he welcomes you like you are a member of his family. and always here to help and increase the customers satisfaction. All of these advantages result in a very good and friendly atmosphere.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

The breakfast was great. We travelled with two children under two years old and the breakfast was great for the whole family. Their facilities were clean and nice. We ended up staying two nights after our original plan was just one night.

looked very clean and organized and the staff was incredibly helpful. I was even given a ride to the ATM as they didn’t want me to get lost at night. rooms were clean and spacious. close to airport
