Really nice room and resort but it is very isolated with no options for any food and drink outside the hotel which means the variety is limited. Perhaps an option to buy sandwich or drinks, snacks, from one of the little gift shops would help. Our room had a fantastic balcony but we couldn't really have a drink in our room because we couldn't get takeaway drinks. You don't always want a full on dinner. The town shuttle is great.

There are no restaurants around so you are 'stuck' using the hotel restaurant; it was decent food and decently priced. The lounge chairs at the pool need to be replaced.

Our room was renovated and amazing; ocean view suite with hot tub. The property was large and relaxing, right on the beachfront. The pool was large. The people working at the resort were friendly and helpful. Noticed that there was a bus stop out front of the resort.

The safe was on too high a shelf to be able to use it. We couldn’t use the hot tub as it was difficult to get in and out of it. A step would be very helpful

Despite clearly requesting twin beds at the time of booking I was given a room with one bed. Also, the aircon didn’t work. Surely the staff knew this before allocating the room. This isn’t fair given the cost of the room.

Particularly liked the free shuttle to the town centre. Some of the restaurant food was very good.

Le Tahiti is on a 'private' bay and also has a lovely swimming pool area. The grounds are lush and tropical, just what you would hope for in Tahiti. The rooms were spacious and we loved the large lanai with a spectacular view of the ocean and Moorea. Staff was wonderful and accommodating.

My room had no fridge which wasn’t good when you wanted to keep water, coke or most importantly the wine cool! Little run down, the balcony door made an awful noise every time you opened it and the toilet only had half a flusher. I messaged the property but no one got back to me. The service at the restaurant wasn’t the quickest or the most attentive.

A lovely stay to finish off our honeymoon - we loved going to sleep with the sound of the waves crashing on the black sand beach just outside. Bed was very comfy - and if you think you don't need a hot tub in your room then think again!

The communal areas of the hotel felt a bit tired and could do with a refresh but it didn't take away from the overall experience.

The staff at the Pearl were fantastic and the rooms were great. The pool area is fab too. The beach right next to the pool is beautiful so it was great having the option of pool or beach right there.

Reception staff referred a lot of questions to "my manager" - questions that seemed quite basic. Block 7 is advertised as "ocean views" but has a huge tree blocking one of the two main windows.

With the email from the hotel 3 beds , which included 2 double and sofa bed but instead 1 king bed and sofa bed. Kitchen very minimal with cooking Appliances. No microwave - very basic needs .

Wifi in the room didn’t work properly, but WiFi worked well in the restaurant and the hotel.

Very nice staff, nice rooms, nice location; we had a car so we could drive everywhere ourselves.

While there were no major issues, the place looked a little dated and old around the edges.

We had initially booked a typically hotel room, but got upgraded to a top floor premium suite at check-in. The views of the ocean were fantastic! The staff was attentive and able to answer our questions about the area. We were here for two nights and spent most of our time hanging out in the suite because it was so nice and relaxing.

It could use a little TLC in some respects. Our toilet stopped flushing on the last day. Some areas look a little run down.

- the door was broken when we arrived in the room, should have been fixed before we got there - the bathroom sinks are a bit clogged, one was broken and had to be fixed - non-luxurious overall

- we got welcome drinks and refreshing towels, great after a long flight - also received welcome gifts (a beach bag and a nice pearl, unexpected) - the apartment is big and nicely compartmentd, 2 separate WCs, big main bathroom - nice view - nice beach with fine black sand - some good food in the restaurant

The price of the breakfast is too high and the choices aren’t the best. Dinner was good, but very expensive.

We got a room upgrade which was fantastic. The room was huge with a beautiful view on the ocean. Swimming pool is good! Close to the airport and perfect to relax after a long trip and before exploring French Polynesia.
