The only downside for us was that the food could have been cooked a little more. The burgers were delicious but cooked too rare for my liking and had to be sent back a few times. Same with the steak and the eggs for breakfast.

Peaceful location. The beach was very clean and the views were breathtaking. I liked that it was a smaller resort so even though it was almost full it didn’t feel crowded.

Food, personel in restaurant often does not speak english, we had few situations which in Europe would be considered rude , not to mention wrong order, incomplete order, waiting ages for service (salt, ashtrey, cutterly)

It was just a bit more on the pricey side, and especially the drinks were expensive. The internet was very slow and spotty, so definitely not good enough for zoom or sending files. Had to use the vodafone cell service which was fast enough at that location to do the file transfers and zoom calls.

The location was absolutely superb, one of the most beautiful beaches with a lot of fish and corals to see. The breakfast was good, the bungalow was clean and comfortable and the food in the restaurant was good, too.

This is paradise. We loved everything - from the check-in experience to the check-out experience and everything in between. We were fortunate to stay in Bungalow 11, its not beach front but it has a beach view and it has been recently renovated (which is excellent and a huge improvement on the other style). The room was huge, and had everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. We loved sitting out on little balcony, for a morning cup of tea and and an evening game of cards. We didn't take the half board option and dined at both the resort and sunset grill (there is also another place next door but timing didn't work for us but we highly recommend sunset grill to try for something different). Relatives stayed here the week before our visit and took the half board option and were very happy with it. The happy hour is cheap and is at sunset which is different every night due to the changing clouds and never ceases to take your breath away. The free kayak and stand up paddle boards were great and access to snorkel equipment was also handy. Grab our sun lounge early (reserve it with your beach towel), take plenty of good books and be prepared to explore the lagoon - theres so much to see (a ray, turtle and a large variety of fish). Be sure to arrange a visit into Fare for the day, have lunch at the Yacht Club and visit the nearby beach, you can also do a little shop at the handicraft stores (there's not many but its worth a look). And also book an island tour, this was the most beautiful island that we visited, the people are so friendly and the vibe is just right.

I didn't like that after we left the hotel on the shuttle the hotel provides a service we received a call telling me that they forgot to add an additional $80 to our invoice. I said not a problem add it to my card on register and they insisted on asking me to give the driver the money in cash.

Breakfast was a bit overpriced for what they offered but was okay paying for it.

The restaurant is realistically the only dining available nearby, and menu variety are somewhat limited. Consequently, dining is not cheap. Because English is fairly limited, if you don't speak French, modifications to the menu can be challenging.

If you look to stay at a hotel on Huahine, your choices are limited to about 2 properties. The beach and snorkeling at the hotel are exceptional. Beautiful location, and nice accomodations for this remote of a place. Very gracious staff. Available paddle boards, kayaks and snorkel equipment. The snorkeling at this location rivals the best in the world.

As English speaking I felt a little outsider. The other guest seemed a bit rude towards us as well as they were better. I like the more relaxed down to earth people that aren't up tight. Also waited over a half hour for them to take our order at restaurant before we left. It was too high price in my opinion anyways. Also the place is okay but dint expect too much, it is a little run down for the price.

We had a beachfront so the view was good.
