I personally thought the food served in the main restaurant could have been a lot better. It was served buffet style (which is OK), but did not feature any Polynesian influence, which I expected.

A sense of urgency would be nice. I understand the "island life" but if there is an emergency or just something that is urgent, I feel the staff is not equipped with the knowledge of what needs to be done in a timely manner.

The breakfast was an American breakfast buffet. You can choose to sit inside or outside but if you choose outside, watch out for birds, chickens, cats, or dogs. Regardless of where you sit, you can still see the beach and ocean from any restaurants at the hotel. One of the restaurant staff, Tatiana made me and my 7-year-old daughter very special. Every time we are at the restaurant she will greet us with our names, beautiful smile, and great service.

We did get the breakfast buffet every day and there were plenty of options. However; it was same during our four days there. No changes. also not a lot of lunch or dinner menu items, and as you would expect, prices are high. Equivalent to “big city” American prices. $20 drinks. We are seriously, not complaining though! We did go to the local store and got snacks and drinks for our room. Also ate locally one day on the island.

This is a stunning property. It was definitely a bucket list vacation for us staying in an over-the-water beach hut. In our opinion if you’re going to travel this far, staying over the water is an absolute MUST!!! It was very private, very quiet and relaxing. Snorkeling right off of your private deck.

Beautiful grounds and a quiet resort. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. It was amazing getting to snorkel right on the resort - we even saw sharks one morning! The sunrises are amazing, too.

I would of preferred this to be an adults only resort. Also some of the bungalows were facing each other & you could hear your neighbors on their cell phone. We were lucky enough to be able to switch rooms after the first night.

We stayed in room 108 for the first night & caught the sunrise. The next day we moved to Room 118 which was more private on the outside reef. It was nice to have the chance to try the 2 different sides of the reef.

Staff, food , location- all awesome. Pricey though- perhaps more than what was warranted- but if was close to peak season. Consider coming well after xmas if you can, I bet it's all half price

Everything is over priced! The food for what you paid wasn't worth it.. Despite having a vegetarian menu, the vege options were pitiful. One meal was just 1 vege sausage for $50 NZD..... Also, the TV didn't work in the room.

Beautiful location on the lagoon! Excellent sized room and comfy bed. The room itself was right on the waterfront. Breakfasts were delicious! The water activities available are a great bonus :)

when we arrived we was told our booking had been cancelled 2 days prior by booking.com but my booking still said confirmed. I think this was a error in there system but the lady at reception was very helpful and found us a room and there was no problem.

There was nothing that we didn't like. It was just amazing.

The breakfast there was so much to choose from. The staff are so kind. I loved the snorkeling see all the beautiful coral and fish even swam with turtles. The room was amazing and love being able to see the fish through the floor. sitting on the deck and enjoying the view of the lagoon and mountains.

there are a lot of fish just below the step of private ladder in our over water bungalow. The price is not so expensive compare to the room size , service and fascibility.

Private, clean, lovely beach and lagoon access, felt really set apart. so close to the ferry terminal which was really convenient. bungalows were very clean and comfortable. free snorkel and kayak rental was so nice. kids loved the breakfast buffet, and the dinner restaurant was lovely. not much need to leave the property
