Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesParking spot was very small and tight. Expectation for 2 cars there was not realistic and we noticed another guest had to park across the street during our stay. The landscaping man working there helped us figure out things and was very friendly like most Polynesians. One of the neighbors was pretty uptight about how i parked like nitpicking and that wasn't appreciated. Some of the appliances need an upgrade. The oven knob was completely broken and it was hard to pinch the control to turn on oven. The refrigerator has rust spots all over it and that was not nice to look at. I didn't see anything up front about a deposit required and that was something I had to do at the last second before our stay. Deposit was returned fully though as we respected the property.
Great view - was fun to watch all the action in lagoon and see the airport activity across the lagoon. Very comfortable and great air condition. Feel this property was a good value for the island.

New ZealandThe beach/snorkeling across from the apartment is slightly disappointing (not the fault of apartment) as a fair bit of trash
We had a great stay in Bora Bora. The apartment had a great feel and lovely outlook. We really enjoyed being able to cook our own meals and dining on the balcony. Although the apartment is 20 mins by scooter from town, we did not find it to be a hassle. The apartment is well setup with everything you need. Really appreciated the pick up from the ferry/airport.

United StatesBe advised that this is not the Moana resort next door with overwater bungalows. It is a studio unit next door in the largest, most brutalistic concrete structure on the island, visible all the way to the airport. The view in the posting is the balcony. The unit itself is tired, 1980s utilitarian. The cabinets were painted grey and are sticky. As others mentioned, the oven knob is broken but will be carefully balanced on the shaft so that you can worry whether you will be charged for breaking it. They provided less than 2 cm of (diluted) shampoo and soap for our 3 night stay LOL. The front entry door was sawed off too short on the bottom so there is a strange ad hoc sponge thing that sticks and prevents you from opening it. The couch suspension is broken so it's super uncomfortable. There is a uselessly microscopic "coffee table" in front of it. There is a bizarre arrangement of a little retracting wire attached to the key so that you have to open the lock box every time you enter. OK, dated and eccentric, but whatever. The main problem, in our view, was not the unit but the management. First of all, we were hit up for a 150.00 Euro "security deposit" after our booking was confirmed by prepayment. Then extra "rules" came. Next they failed to provide entry information a week in advance as promised. After begging we received it the night before, but no lockbox code! We begged for it, expecting they would overlook it as well, but we MUST wait until 3 hours before entry time. Sooo... there we are in their parking lot at sunset with no entry code. Their phone number is in France. They don't answer. Booking.com threatened them with a rebooking by email and finally we got in (so they were looking after all). Finally, they kept our security deposit. No reason given. After a lot of calling, Booking.com apologized and promised to refund the security deposit, which we are still waiting for.
We wanted a reasonably priced crash pad for climbing Mt. Pahia and visiting Matira Beach. It suited our purpose. AC and new washing machine for your salty swimsuit. We could prepare meals in the kitchen. The parking is secure. The bed was fine. The ring road is noisy (right under the balcony) but all rentals on the main island are near it, so whatever.
