The hotel is dark ; low level lighting not to our likening. The rooms where the shower is over the bath is a disaster ; its difficult to get in and when running the shower most of the water runs over the floor making it very slippery.

The hotel rate is very high and with no breakfast - or for an additional EUR 25 per day - but french polynesia is generally much much overpriced to foreign tourists, for the service you get sometimes deliver. But to adjust pricing is only a hotel management topic.

in an french dominated country like french polynesia, it was a positive experience that hotel has some key english speaking people at the front desk which helped me a lot. It is know world wide, and other have made similar negative experiences that french people what to be in their "french bubble". I was before in Mexico and the mexian are often willing to get in contact and at least try to speak english as possible.

Good quality hotel that urgently needs attention

Breakfast was really poor. The buffet was not replenished so that if you were not early coming down to breakfast your choices were extremely limited. Some local fruit - bananas and pineapple could have been supplied. There was a small cafe down the street that was a god send. On one night we thought we'd go to the lounge bar for a drink. It was closed. But worse still - the staff member who directed us there didn't know it was closed. The exterior areas of the hotel eg pool and surrounds urgently needed maintenance. Papetete was not quite what we expected. We should have booked a hotel out of town so that there were activities to do.

The room was excellent - extremely spacious and well laid out. The bed was comfortable

See above. When shower the water leaked all over the floor each time. Tub had to actually climb into it was so high. Whom ever designed this had no clue on design. The breakfast buffet for 10000 Frac was not worth the price, coffee old tasting and food selection was just ok, not for the price

I from the booking should have had a king bed in a loft. I had a king bed and a living room with a spare twin thrown in it. That bed took up the whole living space. That living space is why I booked that room and did not get it.

Bathroom lighting was dreadful. Way too dark. Didn't have enough towels. The location on the front of the building was very noisy. Interrupted sleeping in the morning. Breakfast was overpriced and short on options.

The hotel was well appointed. Room was comfortable. Check in and staff were friendly, helpful. Locatiion was close to pier where our cruise ship docked. Walking distance to the market, tourist sites.
