Papua New Guinea- Housekeeping was poor. We stayed for three nights, had requested for clean/new towels on the second day and did not receive any, had to resort to getting our own towels. - Full sized tennis court also needs to have ball and kits for guests' usage. - Although working, AC's recommended to be upgraded to newer models, to reduce noise and energy consumption. - Review water supply as water pressure (especially to all the showers) were low.
Great value for money. The two bedroom apartment was spacious with comfortable rooms, well kitted kitchen. Decent pool and gym facilities were a bonus. Well spaced, and quiet, relaxing location.

Papua New GuineaNot that it was a big deal but reported to the reception that the TV wasnt working but no-one attended to it (although the the guy advised that he would send someone up to check) I need to point out that the pool was dirty . You had over adults jumping in with full on clothes , young ladies combing their hair in the pool. Grease on the top layer suface of the pool

New ZealandThe front desk staff need to be more customer friendly, they place a higher priority over a phone call than the customer standing at the desk. My greeting from the front desk staff member was: "Do you need something" I explained I wished to check in and was then asked if I had booked. The front desk staff need to spend a couple of hours with the front door security to learn some customer service skills. Also the staff need to check that everything works in the room and that the TV is tuned in. I have stayed at the Gateway twice in little over a week, on both occasions the TV was not working,
The location is excellent for those of us that live in other provinces and need to overnight in POM. The security staff on the front door are very good, helpful and friendly.

AustraliaNot enough staff at the reception counter to handle the volume of traffic. This resulted in long waits. A common booking dot com issue is getting a smaller or more poorly positioned room if using the service. My room was the smallest in the hotel and a bit claustrophobic and with no desk. There were a few accoutrements missing from the room.
It's a great location close to the airport. A security company now runs the shuttle bus between the hotel and the airport. The room and facilities were very clean and up to expectations. Good dining options available too.

AustraliaWe requested early check-in and it was confirmed, but upon arrival in the hotel it turned out that rooms were not ready and we had to wait for two more hours before we could check in. Very inconvenient, as we had meetings and we couldn't even take a shower.
Pick-up and drop-off at the airport worked well. The swimming pool is nice.
