Its more like a 2 or 3 star hotel. Very clean, quiet area, close to dive shops and restaurants. Staff are nice, and mr. Bong has your bag and will help you in any case. Highly recommend.

They don't serve breakfast and there is not really any options for quick easy breakfast nearby especially if you need to be up early for a dive trip.

Very nice clean modern and spacious rooms. Lots of places to hang wet clothes & diving gear. Short walk from Mikes diving resort and from restaurants. The staff here were so friendly, wish we could have stayed longer.

The room was a little small, but once we unpacked and used all the cabinets the space was perfect. The pillows were too big for the bed, so my wife and I had to fight for space--- this place was great, there is nothing serious to dislike.

Extremely clean with a modern room. Awesome location close to the beach, dive shops, and restaurants. Bong, the host was very helpful and efficient. He arranged a motorbike at a fair price, recommended great restaurants, cafes, and waterfalls to explore. The bed was comfy. The aircon was new and quiet. Numerous drying racks outside for wet clothes or dive gear. The wifi worked well. The free cup of espresso in the morning was the icing on the cake. 100% recommend

+ good cleanliness + comfortable, big bed + reasonably fast and reliable WiFi + very friendly staff (especially Bong) + good location, just a few min walk from restaurants, mini-supermarkets and some dive shops in Dauin + relatively quiet neighborhood (except for some normal chicken/dog noises like everywhere in rural Philippines, but with aircon as white noise it was not very loud)

We had a great stay at Amigos Hostel. The room was super clean and very well furnished (made for divers) and was cleaned daily. Sir Bong made our stay perfect, we will miss his service and warm manner in the future. He helped us choose a dive center, through him we enjoyed great dives at Critters Republic, with pick up service at the hostel. Every day we had fresh papaya and cafe for breakfast, served with wit and good mood and conversation, which made our stay perfect. Thank you very much Sir Bong

I stayed many hotels as business and leisure.Amigos is definitely a place I would want to return to if I went to Dauin. Rooms are perfectly sized for one or two people. They are well cleaned and equipped with air conditioning, refrigerator, safety deposit box, wall-mounted TV, and hair dryer. I am a diver and need a hanging place for my laundry, and no way, it comes with hangers under sunshine!And I love hot hot shower, yes they have. The room is also equipped with wifi, which is perfect for web meetings. But my favorite part is the dining area in front of the front counter where I can relax as if I were at home. Every morning I am greeted with a cup of freshly brewed coffee and the smiling of MrBong and his staffs.This time, with special papaya! After diving, I bought beer nearby and enjoyed it here also. The staff is really friendly and helpful. I have refrained from commenting so far because I was afraid I would lose occasion for my reservation, but it was a really nice stay, so I am commenting to thank you. See you again soon!

The staff have been so accommodating, helpful, and more than anything else been so genuinely happy and nice. No day begins nor ends without their beautiful smiles. Bong has been specifically so helpful guiding us around Dauin and nearby places. He gave some local insider tips too! He gives free papaya every morning ❤️

Why in Phillipines, they mostly have shower head that spread in all direction rather than straight and narrow water jet.

I stayed an extra 5 days because I was having such a good time. The staff is so great and makes the place run smoothly! Mr. Bong, Tisa, Josie and Vickie make you feel right at home. They keep the rooms spotless (daily cleaning), help with special requests and questions, greet everyone with a warm smile each time you return. Close to the beach. Near to the best eateries in town. Off the main road enough to be quiet. Ideal location! I was there for muck/macro diving and simple, clean, good internet was all I needed. Small and simple rooms but just perfect for me as solo traveler. I don’t need fancy or big and this was right price point!

Room and bed could be slightly bigger, but the pictures are really accurate. So this didn't come as a surprise.

Bong was really helpful and provided us with all kinds of tips and information. On top of that there good coffee in the morning! If you want to go for diving or snorkeling we'd definitely recommend Bongo Bongo Divers, just a couple of min. walk from Amigos Hostel.

This place is the perfect stay if you want great location, super clean, amazing staff, comfort and affordability. I can’t say enough great things about my time here. The beds are comfortable, coffee each morning and the BEST part - the staff. Mr. Bong and his team finger extra mile to help you with questions, to find your way around town, suggestions, scooter rental, day trips, etc. The smiles they share are genuine and you will really feel looked after here. You won’t feel like a guest— you’ll feel welcomed home each day. Water refill station, solid wi-fi (I’m digital nomad) and great air con. They really care about your experience and go the extra mile. Thank you, Mr. Bong, Tiza and the crew. You do a wonderful job!

Such a lovely place to stay, everything is very clean, new and comfortable. The team are so helpful and always on hand. You can order food to the hostel and eat in their downstairs kitchen area which is well maintained.

The very best host and person where you can ever stay! Nothing but praise and thankfulness for Bong and Mrs Cathy. I stayed at their accomodation for 4 days, lovely place, great bed and shower and very clean. I have traveled quite a bit but never stayed somewhere with such an extremely kind and caring host as Bong! At the first day he showed me around where to go at the back of his scooter, helped me where to go to for diving. But most athonished and extremely thankful was I when on the last day I had a bad accident with my neck, Bong went with me in the ambulance to the hospital and even stayed with me until 2 o’clock in the morning until he was sure I had my own room after being in the ER. Next morning he came back with lots of fruit, drinks and snacks and stayed for quite some time and came back again the same day just to keep me company with me while I was traveling alone. The next day he brought my suitcase and the next even took dirty clothes with him to return freshly washed the next morning. He helped me check out of the hospital and being me to the port. For all his time, food and trouble he didn’t even want to accept any payment at all. I can’t recommend and thank him and Mrs Cathy enough. Extremely gratefull to have stayed here: THANKS A MILLION!!! Highly recommend this place to each and everyone!
